- THIS IS THE OLD 2011 VERSION! I HAVE A NEW VERSION WITH BETTER CAMERA AVAILABLE HERE:
• Money Origami Flower F...
These step by step instructions help you to fold your own money origami flower. It can be made with any denomination of bill.
If you are cutting paper into the shape of a US bill, the dimensions are 2.61 inches by 6.14 inches. You don't have to be precise - you can round down if you need to. Origami paper is about six inches square, so that is fine for the long side. Most non-US bills will work, too, as long as they are reasonably rectangular in shape.
Money origami is wonderful for giving for graduations, birthdays, weddings, baby showers, you name it. It's a great way to help someone out with cash and make it special at the same time. You can also give money origami out for tips!
Sometimes viewing from a different angle helps. I'm happy to create a new video from a different angle or using a different color paper if you think it will help you understand a fold. Let me know what you'd like to see!

This has been my “go to” video on making my money origami flowers. I see that you’ve posted some recent ones as well. I really like how you folded the flowers on a GO board😉
Thank you so much! Yes I started with the go board over a decade ago - I figured the lines might help people figure out more easily where the paper was being folded. I love go.
@@lisasheaorigami Great idea! The GO board has sentimental value to me as I remember my grandfather teaching me and my brother how to play on a set he had made himself. Thank you again for such a beautiful video. I make the money flowers every year for graduation leis💕
absolutely magnificent
Thank you! These are great for presents, even just as an added pretty bow on top.
Love your tutorials. You are literally saving my life right now. I need a present in less than 3 hours. Money origami for the win. Thanks!
A benefit of money origami is definitely that it can be made last-minute. As long as you have a bill or two, you are all set.

Yes the folds for the money flower are fairly straightforward, and you do the same folds over and over again, so this is a great shape to start with.

Nice scrabble URL at the bottom of the screen.
omg i loved this it helped me with my bothers neckless
Good stuff keep it up!
I took a break when my shaky hands got worse, but now I am just plowing at it as best I can :).
Thank you
So pretty, they also look like snowflakes, can I "borrow" your bills to practice with,LOL.Thanks for great video!
Is it better with already used money or newish money?
This works best with new money where the folds can be nice and crisp. Older bills tend to get soft and don't hold folds as well.
Thanks, I'm sending my Mom 60 bucks for mothers day.
That is very sweet! I enjoy doing origami flowers for gift giving - it helps the money present look more "pretty".
tanks so much
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
the 114 people that disliked are trolls don't worry :)
I definitely had challenges with my 2011 setup. My video camera had to be mounted on a tripod and set in a certain position. So I understand why some people found it hard to see. I'm now redoing all the videos on my cell phone with a goose-neck mount, so I have far more options on angle!
I used a clear plastic hair rubber band :) and 3 1 dollar bills =D
can u make a stem to go along with that?
it is just a $60 petal flower. Each bill make 2 petals smart one.
@eaglebreath5 agreed soothing voice yah
wow
I want one, can you send me one that's cool.
Q: hey, how much is that flower?
A: oh it's $60 per flower
lol
I have a question, have you considered this thing called the Intellitus Cash System? (look it up on google). My uncle says it makes people plenty of money.
nice go board.
can i use a fishing line??
:)
I've been trying to teach my cat to play piano my year. But every time I try she leaves. So can I have yours.
Money origami? SHEA?? I think i got something going on.
Hahahaha xD i used a bobby pin instead of Floral wire! LMBO!
$120!!!!!!
You realize you could unfold it when you need to use it.
i used an rubber band :D
I like it but music is depressing!
Single straw lei
that's sounds like Nora from iCarly

I,varry,like,you,
you're rich... how can i afford 5 twenty-dollar bills lol
And I'm guessing you can't afford to go to school either.
60 dollars for a fucking flower
