  • It’s "Murder on the Orient Express"… it premiered for the first time on stage at the McCarter Theatre in Princteon. State of the Arts goes behind-the-scenes to see how this new production of Agatha Christie's classic is being brought to life, in an adaptation by Ken Ludwig. His play "Lend Me a Tenor" won two Tony Awards. Ken discusses the challenges, and we see the creative work in action, from the rehearsal hall with director Emily Mann, to the scene shop where the sets by Tony Award-winning designer Beowulf Boritt are being brought to life.

It is odd how people forget the ending of Orient Express that’s like people forgetting who murdered Roger Ackroyd!

So, this was not a Broadway play?
How does the playwright feel about another theater ( in the Virgin Islands ) doing it?
Would it be costly for a 120 person house for 10 -12 showings?
