I think it may surprise rugby administrators just how much fans love this sort of thing. I think it’s because many of us probably were never involved in sport at an elite level. Getting an insight into the intensity, the quality, the attention to detail, the commitment, is just incredibly inspiring. Keep it coming!
Even for those of us who have some County rugby experience (Buckinghamshire U19s, 1980/81) this is just another world. We did actually train at Bisham Abbey - which was England's training centre of choice at the time - but we only went there for half a day and there was definitely a lot less attention to detail. Can't say what it was like for England boys back in those days, however... probably much the same as for us, to be honest!

I’m Scottish but this keeps me going during lockdown. Was patiently waiting for this to return. But would genuinely love it if the Lions did something like this when on tour....whenever that happens.

@David Harrison I don’t know can biggar kick goals from 60m? Or commandeer almost every position in the back line? Daly is versatile whereas biggar is not. But that’s just my opinion
@David Harrison well what qualities does biggar have that daly doesn’t? Keep in mind that Daly is a centre/wing/fullback and biggar is very much a fly half
@David Harrison I think that daly is a very well seasoned player great experience and I think that he reads the game well his distance greatly helps with his tactical kicking and is a great asset to both sarries and England. I think that his versatility also helps. Who started all three tests in the 2017 lions tour? Bigger was only in a few of the provincial and super rugby games. I’m just saying he is very deserving of his spot in the England squad. I mean who’s going to replace him, Furbank? Malins? They all lack experience. Daly is the best option and will stay there for a good few years

I really hope none of the guys decide to do something stupid and break the rules. Given the focus of this episode and proper understanding of the severity of it all, if they do break rules I really think they need to be dropped immediately. I think I'd rather suffer a losing side, than one getting away with breaking the rules because they're elite sports stars
Normally all would not be lost after losing the opening game as that along with where we are in the World Cup cycle it would be a good chance to refresh personnel. Saracens experiment should be binned for this tournament bar Itoje. Steward/Malins competing for FB. Thorley on the wing. Watson and especially May look emotionally drained weirdly. Lawrence/Slade partnership is promising but the lack of depth there is a problem. We should be training other nations players only for them to choose their preferred nation. I’d keep Ford around for attacking but give Simmonds the other fly half spot. Ben Spencer should be starting with Randall off the bench. Dombrandt should be starting 8 unless Hill starts at 6 allowing Simmonds/Earl to play 8. That position needs the biggest refresh. Barbeary would be great either 8 or hooker. Curry needs to be told he is droppable as complacency could be an issue. Need to see what Hill at 6 and Willis at 7 looks like too add depth. Giving Ribbans game time at lock is needed. Obano isn’t test level. Heyes, West, Stuart need game time.
So only a few issues need fixing.......
Sadly I can’t see anything changing and by the time Jones leaves after RWC a generation of English players who should have played test level would be too old to start having not been blooded over 8 years.

I respect and commend the efforts to adhere to such stringent Covid protocols but I can't help but find it hugely pedantic and contradictory behaviour when they are spotting, running and crashing into each other during training and gym sessions!
This year for me : 1 england 2 irland 3 Scottland 4 wales 5 france 6 italy
I think France is going to do a lot better than that. Your opinion though.
