2 years ago I passed my PN NCLEX on the first try without Uworld (I couldn’t afford it). For my RN I used Uworld and failed my first attempt. I just discovered your page this week. I have used all of my question on Uworld should I reset the questions? Or just use one of the other resources I have access to?

Dr. Z. I'm restarting my Journey on the Nclex-RN after failing 4 times. I test in 2 months. I work a full time job, & I'm the only one supporting myself financially. I have Grit & endurance. My problem is with the 40/40/40/40. Do i do it everyday still or on my day's off? I'd still like to the some questions before & after work. What's a good approach to my dilemma? Please help!

The NCLEX is so random. Couldn't really get into the flow.

@@Dunstlookalike yes. Second time. Used uworld. Great rationales. Used archer great analysis and graphing data points to give you an idea of strength and weaknesses. But the most important thing I learned was from a video I watch from Kaplan. My study partner used Kaplan. It teaches you how the test is designed, why the test asks certain questions, and what you need to do when the test asks certain kinds of questions. Kaplan is great for understanding words in questions and sentence structures to better understand clues and find answers. Once I realized that the test doesn't asses content mastery but rather how to answer certain questions I felt better.
I thought it was easy first go. I failed. I didn't understand the test itself.
Second time I knew the test. The questions were super hard. After I thought I failed for sure. But I passed.
The test wants to build you up if you get questions wrong. So it gives you easy questions to get you back to the baseline.
If you keep getting questions right. The test gives you harder and harder questions to knock you back down to baseline.
It's not a traditional test. So don't study traditionally.
@@nw7629 Wow - congrats!!! Thank you for all this info - I will definitely use Uworld now! Is there any way you can link me to the Kaplan video? Test-taking strategies are super important - I agree! Also - did you use all of Uworld's and Archer's test bank? That's thousands of questions!

I just typed in cardiac tamponade on the search button to see what you're talking about and nothing popped out. So I don't know what I am doing wrong.
It won't show you a topic if you haven't done the question.
