  • I was in Assiniboine park Saturday October 19th. In the hours of 11:00-2:00 a witness saw three individuals who "looked like a family" wheeling my bike west of the Wellington Crescent entrance. A father, son, and third individual formed the group.
If you have any information regarding this bike please contact me at this email: gadgeteyechannel@gmail.com
We are offering a 500$ reward for it's return in original condition. This is more money than could be gained by any other method, such as attempting to sell parts.
The Bike in question cannot be started, and the parts have minimal to no value. It weighs 170lbs so it was either stolen entirely on foot, or was loaded into some kind of pickup truck.
I have been working on projects for this bike for a long time, and had planned a big reveal. It seems likely that won't come to fruition. I find myself very disappointed.

Side I'm quite amazed how smart you are at such a young age. I can hardly understand how your making chips and making a whole new motor hubs. While learning by making carbon fiber forks!?! Dude you are outstanding! I wish I can know the things you know. You must really soak up information like a vacuum. Can you make some videos of what your were doing or about to do or something?

Sorry to hear it bud, as there is an old saying "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." It was stolen for a reason - to make you stronger. In my younger days, I had two bikes stolen when I was in my teens. One was a GT and another a Kona. They were low end bikes at the time, but it was all I could afford! The locks had been cut, although they weren't proper D-Locks. I come from the other video and didn't realise you are a young person - you have achieved so much with E-bikes, that makes you pretty much top 1% in this community - and you are probably just a handful out of the people in your city with something like that - that is how special you are. Keep fighting - if you had a non-ebike, it still would have got stolen that day. If I park a bike up in the street - it will be a beat up looking bike with a solid lock. That is how the world is. With your next project spend 10% of the total value of the bike on security - don't give up make another one - CZcams viewers are waiting!

I am really sorry kid. I hope you feel better now and build a 100kw ebike that goes 200mph, from a traction motor off a train. Best wishes.

I live in NYC. Big bike theft problem here. As someone who's gotten their bike stolen twice, and one of them found and returned once, they don't sit there and wonder if the bike is worth stealing. If it was sitting there, they will grab it and figure it out on their own after the fact. Unfortunately, your bike has most likely been disassembled already. Same happened to mine, but my neighbor apparently knew who stole it and was able to get it back for me. They fucked up the back wheels, the bearings, etc. At least I got it back. Had to take it to the bike shop and they were even surprised I got it back, as stolen bikes are rarely seen again. Sorry to hear about it. Hopefully from what you described, maybe the family, if it was a family, just thought it was some random bike left out and took it innocently (even though that would be idiotic). Here in NYC, police HQ's have information on bikes that were found if you have the bike's ID number. Not sure if you have that where you live, but perhaps you can check. Goodluck!

It does have a serial number, which the police have. If it is found, I will know about it.
However I have very little hope.

Damn. Always take pictures of your cereal number. I bought a 10ft chain for my 1200 doller bike. I hope the best.

For sure gone. Probably sold it quick or kept it for himself. I got a super 73, I always got my eye on it. Unfortunate story.

I'm a big fan and have some parts I can send you if you like. Maybe set up a parts/money donation page for your fans to get you back up and running/riding

@@amirjabri5534 Perhaps I will upload something on git hub in the coming weeks. Although I did not have an opportunity to test it, I could release the board anyways.
In any case, I appreciate the offer, I don't have framework setup for donations of any kind yet. I think I will be alright for now.
