Superb mate👏👌

I can just hear Private Frazer (John Laurie) from Dad's Army describing that mountain as a "Wild and Lonely Place" . Another one off the list. Well done.
It certainly felt wild & lonely up there! Cheers Glen,
James

Thanks Heather 😁
Cracking video again James, I’ve seen that Bothy on a few videos now, very remote. Thanks for sharing as always! 😀🥾🏴🏔️

Cheers William 🏔
I did Carn a' Chlamain by bike (on the way back we were literally racing to try and get away from the midges!) but I was feeling a bit tired when I did Beinn Dearg and just fancied a long stroll. I absolutely loved it. I did it the other way round, and there were a few kms after the bothy that got a bit dull, but the forests at the end of the walk were magical. It's lovely to see it in the snow.
Its a great hill, was glad of the bike for the return leg though 😂
Love those views. Amazing distance you get in the central highlands
Its a great viewpoint 😁
Like you say, James, not very spectacular, but very remote and attractive in it’s own way. Thank you very much for these impressions!
Cheers Martin, thats the good thing about the Munros, great variety 😁
Cheers, James
Congratulations. That’s a great hike.
Cheers, great day out 😁
I've to go back and complete that 1. When we attempted it 2 years ago we made it about a mile away from summit n had to turn back due to the extreme winds. I walked it last time which was a long day.......Will definitely be taking the bike next time 😂👍🏻
It must be very exposed in high winds! Definitely take the bike though, worth it for the way back 😁
Cheers, James
Brings backs some great memories, my wee dog and I did this route a few years ago, (my wee dog has since gone to The Great Park in the Sky). Just a great Munro and a long but fantastic walk.
Glad it brought back some memories Alicia, great Munro & I was glad of the bike on the return leg!
Cheers, James
Great stuff once again mate.
Cheers Trev 😁
Ah, you were nearing the top as I was descending… in and out fr Calvine / Bruar Lodge track
Nice one Steven, was a great day 😁
Great drone footage! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Graham 😁
Did this Munro on foot at the end of December a good few years back. We started and finished in the dark. Your trip looked fun on the bike on the way back.
Well done - must be a long day on foot! Was a fun return journey on the bike,
Cheers, James
So that's what the summit looks like? I walked the entire route impulsively in November. Will definitely bring my bike for Carn a'Chlamain. Great video, James.
Long way to go for no views at the top 😂 definitely bring the bike for Carn a’Chlamain though, its a great day out too
Cheers, James
Definitely a good idea taking the bike, I did exactly the same when I climbed it. Fantastic feeling of remoteness in that area. Well done James.
Was glad of the bike for the return leg! Certainly feels remote up there..
Cheers, James
Super picture and you got the drone warmed up too. How does your SLR cope slung on you bag shoulder strap? What's the mount called on the strap?
Thanks Marty 😁 it seems fine on the strap, its called the Ulanzi Claw 😁
Cheers, James
Thanks for sharing James, might give this 1 a go soon with the bike also as it's the only 1 in that area I've still to do. Atb, Steve.
Great day out Steve, definitely bring the bike 😁
Cheers, James
Done this twice as a circiut , i came back through the shooting range , they didnt hit me though 🤣
Always a bonus 😂
Jeeze, remember that ride and walk as if yesterday and similar time of year. I also remember that the ride out is way better than the ride in....braw!!!
Was glad of the bike on the way out 😂
@@ScottishMunroJourney aye, and mostly down hill as I recall 🤣👍
Aye mate that’s a long trek for that one! Did it in 2016 and wild camped half way! Was a scorcher ☀️ when I did it and wasn’t pleasant in the tent overnight 🥵😂
What song is playing during the summit B roll?
The Ravine by Beluga Lagoon.....check them out mate, absolutely fantastic.
