If you’d like to be helpful make a suggestion and do so kindly. Hey Alex. Love watching your videos. Amazing fly fishing. I was wondering why you don’t use the new orvis 955 blackout? Very interested in buying a Helios. Not sure if you recommend one for all around fishing.
Love that rod but the H3 D is just better suited to that type of fishing (winter, heavy flies, split shot, indicators etc) It’s just about choosing the right tool for the job. As we move into summer I will be using the Blackout more and the H3 D much less
