wouldn't need to dodge between two cars if the cameraperson noticed the hazard as it developed. Massive spash and car in lane next to you braking and swerving, better not slow down...
I couldn't not look up the accident at 2:40. Its harrowing. Took me quite a bit but I finally found it. The accident took place on March 22, 2022 on highway N2 in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Early morning made visibility at about 20-30ft. 8 vehicles were involved; four semis, four pedestrian vehicles. Thankfully the guys jumping the barrier were found alive. A few small injuries, but alive. The trucker in the clip didn't survive. He was smashed between his truck and the truck he hit. Three lives (maybe four, kinda mixed answers) were taken. The only one to die on impact was the trucker. The others died either on the way to the hospital/in the hospital from sustained injuries
2:38 I like how the people warning the truck think that by standing right next to the disabled vehicle and waving their arms that the truck driver is going to somehow see them in plenty of time to stop when he can't even see the large vehicle directly in front of him.
Who in their right mind would stay so close to wreckage in deep mist? Either go further down the road to signal so there's chance people to stop or get the hell out.
@Yummy Spaghetti Noodles for that crash, I would be extremely surprised if the driver survived that. I hope they did as I don’t wish them dead but that was a brutal crash.
I never realized that drive ins are that complex. Typically I just park my car and order food like a normal human being. I guess I miss the step where you rip the bumpers off your car.
8:20 letting any intersection be like this is just negligence, they should add speedbumps and that would probably solve most of the expensive accidents.
I live in the country where this happens, it is drivers who decide to just go and follow no traffic rules, everyone here just speeds through a red light
Wtf did I just see, man. They should put some short wall there, not just a piece of metal. A a speedbump of-fucking-course. You can fall in that pit just by trying to avoid someone, you don't even have to have a crash.
That one intersection is crazy 😝 Some wicked things in this episode. I'm a bit worried about the van who crossed with the train, amongst others. You do good at showing the bad, FS
What I have learned from these videos, is that if someone makes dangerous or illegal maneuver, then best course of action is to RAM INTO THEM, because if you try to avoid it, there's very high chance that you end up hitting someone else or crashing into a ditch or post and they just drive off happily ever after like nothing happened ..
It also looked like the pickup truck was reacting and pulling back into the left lane, too. Like they say if someone is going head on to you, don't go into their lane in case they correct.
Exactly. But people here often say "you could have slowed down, not hit him because he made a mistake" or "you could have swerved a bit, not hit someone just because they made a mistake". A often times we see here that swerving can get ypu in a crash by yourself and they guy that was at fault just runs away. Always hit if going this fast. Never swerve. Hitting the other car may help you slow down a bit, but swerving will definitely get you on your roof. In 95% of time. And, people, always use your brake in situations like this. And always count of stupidity of other drivers. The thought "everyone else is stupid while driving but me" would save countless lives. While driving you always have to expect the worse, then you'll act much safer.
@@johnnybravo437 I drive with a simple philosophy. “Everyone else out there is going to do something stupid and try to kill me.” I am right far more often than I would like.
