    Thanks Hoocho, The new bucket design is great. I have printed several and have them in my outdoor greenhouse with eggplant, Ahi Dulce peppers, basil, and coriander.

    That's the most fun for me in 3D printing. I might not need a whole lot of prints, but solving an existing issue is always nice. The injection molding for the buckets is vastly superior to 3D printing though, especially if you want something to last "forever". So going that route for your system was absolutely the right thing to do. Layer adhesion just isn't perfect. But absolutely "good enough".
    If someone in the community wants something done, I have an email in my channel profile. Will obviously be free of charge, but be reasonable. Not looking for another 40 hour work week or anything. Just want to help out, if you're not that good at modeling but need a little thing done that is not already available. Offer obviously extends to Hoocho himself as well, but I doubt that he'll need any help.

    A multibucket extender for more root area could be cool! Like the kegland boiler extenders, maybe just another multibucket with no bottom in it and joiner using some pipe in each corner like the vertical setup pictured

    Congrats on the sell out of the initial launch. I am still on my first hydro grow (DWC) but want to expand outside during the summer and honestly, the Hooch buckets look to make the most sense of any product out there. Great design and great presentation as alway. Maybe you could do a video time lapse of you designing something in Fusion 360 with a bonus beer counter. :). Happy hydroponicing

      Cura user who doesn't have that plugin: Does it let you change the print settings for different models on the same plate? IE: feeds/speeds/layer times etc. If I have a small thing and a big thing to print I just print them separately but it would be cool to not have to.

    Multi colored printing with the ams doesnt need to be wastefull, when i print tags i fill the bed and only do one color switch. So very little waste it just needs to be designed arround.

    Hi Hoocho, thank you for your amazing videos!
    Could you please do one on the correct plastics to use for 3d printing hydroponic parts?

    Could you please give a bit of clarity? Thank you! 🎉

    Germany is about to legalize cannabis. (Last legal barrier this Friday) Hence 3 plants are allowed to grow in a tent. I would be interested in using your buckets in a slightly modified version, so dat a) Kratky is possible and the buckets' water is conneted with a 'click system'. Would you be willing to work on such a version?

    Hey hooch, I'm living in Australia and I'm trying to find a really good brand to purchase seeds from, the seeds I have been using have a very low success rate with germination.
    If you could recommend a company or what seeds you buy that would help not just myself but others as well.

    Uh, there's little to no waste doing the old school filament change. You have white as your main layer, and when when you do a filament swap, there's a pause command. You don't even need an AMS to do this as people have been doing this years before the AMS / MMU even hit the scene. The only waste is a minor purge when swapping filament.

    • @Hoocho
      @Hoocho  Před 3 měsíci +1
