Is it just me or the SNK artwork on CVS2 was is Very Beautiful even though It feels lifeless especially their Face(even though they give some expression)
I think you described it well. At first, I prefer SNK's arts, they are always very beautiful and I use them for most thumbnails. But by comparison, Capcom's are more expressive, more dynamic, the characters are more different from each other. I preferred to use Capcom's Geese art for the thumbnail, as for me it better represents the villain, with a high chin and confident look .
Sakura's capcom picture perfectly corresponds to Yuri's capcom picture. Both of them have the same eyes whereas Sakura doesn't smile, Yuri does. That shows how tomboyish Sakura is and how girly Yuri is.
Sakura is definitely a shoto but a limited shoto. Her hadoken is not a projectile but it does a three hit combo. She has a 7 hit combo Uppercut & a hurricane kick. She also has a dive kick like Akuma

Weird that they made her Hadouken a small spark instead of its' usual projectile property.
It must have been a nightmare to differentiate so many characters with similar characteristics

Just did a single run with Sakura. I got several FINEST KOS l, defeated the sun boss Geese, got over 1500 GP and defeated Ultimate Rugal in 4 retries
