Thanks for your comments to them in favor of PPF. I said the same thing to them when I visited. It doesn't sound too positive that they haven't contacted Flexishield.
I tried to link FlexiShield up with Sarah Hardwick well over a year ago but at least at the time nothing seemed to come of it.

I really hope they will print custom wraps at the factory, or contract with a local wrapper.
My hopes too. I'm not doing a solid color or gradation. Mine will be an illustration.
I always wanted PPF instead of vinyl wrap, but I had wanted a custom color as well, and I'm willing to pay more for it. But I opted for the Launch edition because AWD and full solar were also on my wish list, and PPF is always possible afterwards. Chris said previously that they may offer the option to have no wrap from the factory for those people (like me) who want a custom wrap. I am not a fan of matte wrap or paint, but I think that Aptera had chosen 3M vinyl wrap for the production models, which has a good gloss, but not great. Thanks for the questions and video!
Chris Anthony still hasn't been definitive about the use of traditional 3M vinyl as the final choice for Launch Edition. But yes, the option for no wrap sold at a slight discount would be great since cost and time to remove the previous wrap is best to be avoided and would save "Aptera time".
@@apteratime You should be able to just order the wrap you want when you get to place your order, IMO. No waste then and it's done when you pick it up.

Low volume production will cost a lot more per vehicle than hi volume production, sense I dont believe they can afford to sell at a loss. those low volume units will cost a lot more. Until about 9 months after they get the funding that they are looking for the only production will be low volume. Also, hopefully the belly cooling and heat pump problems will be solved buy the time full production starts.
Very nice young lady speaking for Aptera, but not the best person if they are looking for funding. She makes Aptera sound like a garage project.
Her primary role is marketing and community support currently. She's great at those. Live answering of random questions, of which there could be thousands, is difficult but she handles it well. For funding Chris Anthony and Steve Fambro are the best at fielding those particular questions.

Chris Anthony just recently stated in a video that the front hood will open. I live on the east coast in Pennsylvania and there are more hills then flat land and some of the hills are considered mountains. And there are several eastern states with mountains from Georgia north to Vermont and Maine. Not really sure why you think regenerative braking will not be important on the east coast!
I didn't say anything about regen not being important. Also, I was referring to hills on the highways specifically. Much more familiar with the southeast, especially Georgia. Driven to Pennsylvania but not Maine or Vermont.
@@apteratime I"m not sure why you wouldn't want regerative breaking. Doesn't squeezing out efficiency the whole point of Aptera? Unless the system weighs a bunch and you'd be better off with more mileage and paying for brake pads to replace...

Do you know what I don't see in the Aptera factory? Anything to actually build a vehicle. This has potential failure written all over it.
