Without a doubt the Liberty Walk/LB Performance Ferrari 458 was one of the most talked about cars from the 2013 SEMA Show.

A Lamborghini Murcielago, Nissan GT-R and BMW M3 were the other cars that made a transformation by Kato and Liberty Walk/LB☆WORKS for the show. GTChannel asked Kato about his roots and where the concept came about. Kato touched on his younger days as a bosozoku in Japan being the inspiration to his designs of recent.

The Libery Walk's 458 is one of the most striking and coolest cars I've seen.
These cars are forms of art and expression. I love the tuner scene. Someone doing something they love, express it differently, and defying norms is definitely art. Beautiful clean work!

Honestly, the 458 was like a modern version of the 612 Scaglietti in terms of that it was cool, but it wasn't striking. Liberty Walk turned it up a notch! They made that car look like the essence of Ferrari was oozing from every fender, same with the Aventador they had, same with the GTR. They just livened the spirit, made them more bold, but not brash, made them feel powerful, moving, more emotional. SUCH great work.

Guy is the man to begin with an he nails the over fender strait track street able look! I'm impressed with every car I've seen from his shop! Keep it up I wanna see a Zonda an a P1 cut up next!!

Creating kits for 20+ years, but low sales is rough. It just took us who grew up with Gran Turismo and Initial D to get old enough to drive and afford his work!
