Hey Rob. To be honest the whole puppet is fun and easy to use. I enjoy most is the googly eyes and the hands are real easy to use. Easier than my other puppets. My brother and I took a cab to see my father after cookie arrived. I handed the fare to the cab driver using cookie monster's hands and the look of shock was priceless on the driver's face. Rob thank you so much again.
Hey rob just wanted to say u got a great youtube channel and my daughter enjoys the muppet stuff u do when i go on your channel. I was curious and wondering if you were able to to make another cookie monster? If you dont i understand and no pronlem it would be a great gift for my daughters bday and would be fun to entertain her friends with as well.take care rob and thank you.
Hi Dustin, Thanks very much for the kind words. I am swamped being a Dad of 3 young children and building bears: facebook.com/robsbears Get in touch with Micheal at Verdi Puppets, he is on facebook. He can build you one. :) :)
Ok, so it turns out that you have to cut a circle out of a ping pong ball, then paint the piece you cut out black, then stick a screw or something like that throught the piece and reattach it to the ping pong ball.
Rob. My brother picked up cookie monster for me. I am very pleased with Cookie Monster. It is very well built and definitely on par with the other puppets I have from lunas, p4p on etsy, and Creature clones. You are a very talented builder and puppeteer.
Philip Ponterio I am so happy to hear, thanks very much. I never thought I'd let him go but it sounds like he has a happy new home. Aren't his floppy yet pointy fingers so much fun!? Enjoy! :) :)
Hey Rob, I'm planning to build myself a Cookie Monster replica. I really like yours a lot. This would be my first puppet build ever, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the process of figuring out how much material I need to purchase for the project. I'm also curious how you did the goggly eyes.
hello once again rob. Now if it's okay to ask. I gotta wanna know...How soon will you have the cookie monster replica back on ebay? because I'm still desperate for something that Is amazing as it looks. And I was hoping maybe that it could be back...And the Ernie replica because surprisingly I did not know you made that replica of ernie
Hi Rob, do you happen to have the patterns for this puppet? I see from previous comments that you don't have time to build another one to sell. As a dad of 4 myself I figured it might be a fun project to undertake with my three older kids.
how do you display gloved hand puppets I have a replica of Ernie and dr teeth and I don't know how to display them I put my rod puppets on these stick stands but idk how to display glove hand puppets
itwasnttheaiplanes beatywhokilledbeast I had my Ernie on a wall mount which was nothing more than a hanger from the hardware store. I added in a wooden dowel that was the perfect height for Ernie so that the dowel would reach the top of his skull but rest on the stand itself as to not put any pressure on the puppet. i would then crap the glove hand around and over his shoulders because the sweater will stretch over time if you let it hang down. Send me a pm and I will try to send you a link of the type of stand I used. :)
Can you plz make another cookie monster puppet to sell. I would pay almost any price and you are the only one that I know of that made a cookie monster puppet so accurate. Plz plz respond
