Can This Rad Power eBike Battery Be Saved? Watch as We Attempt a Daring Repair!

At EV-LC we had this Rad Power bike donated in dead condition. I suspected the battery was bad but didn't expect it to be THIS bad! Seems there was water intrusion, maybe thru the keyhole. There was a ton of corrosion and at least 9 of the 11 banks of cells were dead. This battery is completely trashed!
Be safe when messing with lithium batteries. There is a lot of energy in there!

This fellow certainly keeps his Guardian Angel working overtime! :) Working to disassemble a compromised lithium battery on a cluttered workbench and using metal tools to pry away the battery casing is a recipe for a heck of a "Aw Sh_t Moment". Sure hope his fire insurance is paid up!!
