I already spent 6-8 months in Market to understand it & done all the things like Investment, Intraday in stocks, options trading, Mutual funds... I understood basics of market and still watching videos like this and practically practicing in market made total loss of around 30-40k in 6 months ..but I am confident that I will Keep learning and become master in this Industry ... @vrd , you also had to mention it varies on person to person. 1 1/2 yr might be for some one who is laser focused , drink and eat market majority of the time. A decent timeframe for average person is 3 to 5 years..

having been trading for about 14 months now, i would say you definitely need more than a year to really know how to trade. and u need about 2 to 5 years to become a profitable trader earning average of 1k a day

sir I must say here that "understanding" and "implementing" these two are different things.
there is a famous quote that " you cannot learn swimming by reading " so trading in stocks is also the same concept.
unless you don't dive deep in you cannot learn trading. and to take that deep dive you need atleast 3 years.
