Thanks for your help with categories. Unfortunately, you didn't say how you get the categories to appear on the home page. My posts are all categorised but are all jumbled up on one page. There is no way you can just select the posts in one category.

I think you show post on your homepage , you've to select settings from dashboard ..
Change the homepage to post instead of static page
