I’m so proud of you, you look healthier and happier seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Trials, tribulations, consistency, and personal growth. Amazing that this journey has been documented.

First, grammar nazi: "eSpecially, not eXspecially"
Second, this video is awesome! The step-by-step instructions are detailed and Kalvin maintains a super-friendly vibe throughout. The vibe is really motivating and encouraging for novices like me to take the first step and try it on my own. I've gotten more than a fair share of mechanics and shop owners who've told me there's no way I can fix my car on my own or "if you're asking that question, you probably shouldn't even think about working on cars." /:(

Awesome video man! Been wanting to learn how to do this myself for a while. I’ve recently brought a mig welder and want to fix some rust issues on my cars/friends cars but keep getting overwhelmed. This video has definitely helped clear things up and given me some confidence to give it a go. Thanks man! Keep up the good work.

No probs. I'll re ask the question I had in the last post. Feel free to answer in a future video: How would you weld panels together that has holes through instead of a backing on one panel where you'd have something to weld onto? Example is converting a FWD car to AWD and you have to drill out both floors and swap them. How would you "spot" weld the 2 panels to keep it's rigidity? And could that be done with a Tig (I know most use Mig and some, stick).
    Appreciated man.

Missed the last few vids but I’m caught up. Glad you decided to tackle everything yourself. Big monkey balls to the wall is what I always tell myself. Good stuff man.

When the 3d model is done for any car it is in patches like you did with the metal. Different surface patches connect to make one bigger surface. Then where the big surfaces connect it is rounded off with transition surface patches, sort of. The actual metal might be stamped from one piece but the 3d or CAD model is made from perfectly transitioning surface patches.
Edit: I see what you did there at the end of the video. Hopefully, your rust is to a minimal:D

Hey man, awesome vids. Quick question, why do you want to remove the drain holes in your GTR? Is it not better to keep them?

would you suggest a beginner do this? And do you suggest buying the machines or is there a way to rent them?

ngl, once youve done this car. you should totally do it again with another even more ruined car. lol. maybe even do like an ev swap or something.

Aren't you suppose to remove the pink guard when tig welding? Any welders can confirm is this is true or not?
