It would be kinda cool if you managed to contact a previous owner of the GTR. Also, please consider keeping the s13. it's such a huge part of the channel and the history. Genuenly, your s13 was one of the inspirations on why I bought my own and even did an rb25det neo swap.
I'd keep the S13. It got your channel off the ground and one day you'll miss it. I thought the RB20 swap was super interesting and unique. It would be awesome to see it up and running with an RB after the GTR is done. OGs remember its appearance in one of Chris' early videos
Great to see you looking well, and sounding positive. The Skyline is a real credit to your talents and work ethic. You should be very proud of your achievements.
I bought a JZA70R back in 2021 from Japan and it sat in nagano for like 18years and I managed to source the address of its previous owners. Eventually I found the car parked next to the owners house in google maps back in 2012!
I think you should keep the GTR the factory white, because you have already greatly set apart this car with all of the top tier restoration that you have done.
lol, good on you! I’m building mine for SEMA. It is a goal of mine to put my skyline in SEMA. But I’m happy you are sticking to what you want to do with your car. It is looking great!
I hope you answer one of my questions! I'm curious if you wish you waited to do a full restoration. Just fixed the drivetrain issues and drove it around for a little bit.
Keep the 240!!!! That was the car that built your channel! Plus it’s clean as hell, and you’d be hard pressed to find one nearly as nice again. Keep it for now! We want to see that rotisserie resto you planned for it. Get a 20 again and toss it back in, that was definitely one of the most unique 240’s out there
4:18 Yes sir glad to hear you might come back down to Texas! Sad we didn’t get to link while you were here last time. Hopefully next time around we can catch up. - Jordan
Love the quick q&a vid! I’m sure you’ve got a couple book recommendations already, I just picked up The Art Of Clear Thinking (Hasard Lee) a very quick book on decision making from the perspective of a former fighter pilot. I’m about halfway through it in only a few hours. I’ve had a few instances of getting stalled on my Z I’m restoring so it’s pretty relevant to me. Used copies are like $15 on Amazon. It’s not necessarily life altering strategies, but seems like an actionable approach to keep in your (metaphorical) back pocket.
Yo, thanks for the answer to my question. It's inspiring and true, when you must do something you just do it , I'll try my best to get to the level you are at man, it won't be easy because you are something else with what you do to the GTR thanks for the inspiration and motivation, showing not everything is perfect in people and sometimes you just have those bad days in life, but you always gotta find a way to keep pushing no matter the obstacles. I can't wait for the r32 to be done 👍
Come to cali, bay area. They dont hsve enough custom car shops right now. I turn people down and the only ad i have is on fb market. Id be down to work with u too, got my certs in body work, and fix fiberglass drift kits over here. Learning how to make my own custom molds to.

I’m curious if you ever got a response from the person you bought the car from regarding his rust is to a minimum statement. Sorry If you already addressed this.

Stop right there ar SEMA. Your pocket rocket would destroy SEMA builds. He'll mine would even though I been asking you to fly by my instagram channel 3 year asking you have yet to do so. Hiscottjim Anyhow 80% of SEMA cars are powder coated hot wheels. They don't even run
Wait!!! You DID mention you wanting to take the car to SEMA in a previous vid though. I still think you should. Taking it is like the bigest advertisement you could get. You want people to recognize the skills??? Show um off at the biggest place you can man!!!
If I missed anything, drop your comment down below.
Thanks for watching, happy chewsday.

Keep the GTR as a nice restored streeter, use the s13 for racing/drifting fun
Why would he contract the old owner. I doubt they’d give af.

I listen to audio books while I work in the shop all day, it’s pretty nice
This is actually a good idea. Never thought of that. It's hard to watch videos during work, but listen to the audio... on point.
@@P2DAPIPE audible is great. I never thought I’d like audio books the way that I do

326 white just pops compared to the other colors. Glad I went with the 326 rather than the kh2

Oh Damn, Cool to see someone on youtube wearing the Kaido House/Nismo jacket.
All the best to you and your family Kalvin.
You could consider Tennessee as well. Plenty of mountains and good people who love cars. Texas is a great choice too though.
Honda's "Indy Yellow pearl" along with a Maxmeyer (SBX 2) "Sunbeam gold" shimmer would look crazy good on the 32.
Killing the Larry June on the intro.
