Hi, I had an abortion when I was 19 and I am now 62. I think Patricia's testimony has helped me to want to do the Rachel's Vineyard Retreat, even though I feel that I have had healing at various points throughout my life. I think I could still benefit from more healing. I also pray the Rosary of the Unborn and have done so for over ten years already, which has also helped in my healing. I'm sure there's a few passages in the Bible, however, which suggest that God isn't always very 'good,' at least from a human subjective perspective. The great flooding, for example. PRAY, this is what I did while working for an agency for single mom's and we were not allowed to speak to anyone re abortions, either for or against it. One of my clients wanted me to go with her to a Clinic to have an abortion, I started praying from the moment she asked me to go.
I was sick to my stomach the while there, as it was, the place was crowded and they told us it was going to be a little while longer so we went for coffee and I could see she was terrified and not so sure of going through with this.
The whole time there I PRAYED she wouldn't go through with it...she ended up walking back into the clinic and as soon as he walked in, yelled I can't do this and we left.
This was a very shy and meek person, who God gave the strength to do the right thing. After she had her beautiful baby girl and I was able to tell her how I prayed she thanked me over and over again, even years later.
Can't help but feel I was born to save this dear little one's life and her mother from making a terrible decision that she would regret for the rest of her life. So PRAY, PRAY, PRAY.

I’m a 77 year old widow and never had an abortion or ever even considered having one when I was younger but my daughter had two and I’ve seen the anguish she has suffered from doing that. I have a part of my heart that is reserved for these innocent little beings and I also speak up amongst family and friends whenever I can to whomever wants to hear the truth. I also try to help women who want to keep their babies but can't afford everything for their child. I feel called to search around within my community and find the items the mom may need and or buy them some of the things that I can afford. God bless you and your ministry and may your voice reach every person that attends your testimony.
All I can say is wow. I am asking my parish priest to read her book. If he is okay with it, I will order as many books as I can to give away to those who want to read it.

Amazing testimony, it truly hit my heart! I wish everyone could watch this video specially those women that are thinking about having an abortion. This video should be seen by everyone but remember it’s all about 💰, the abortion industry will never show you what could happen post abortion to the mother, they could care less about women’s bodies, mental or Physical health.

I used to support & justify abortion too, now I do not. It is not for religious reasons, but logic and consistent ethical & legal principles.
My legal position is more nuanced (but still the same as other legal killing, no special exception), but I personally never act to justify or support killing of another human, and I think it is her rare that a fully aware person would, without being strongly pressured too by outside co-ercive force or using the avoidance of fear to justify anything.

Morality of the mothers, maybe I don't know.
I probably differ from you, in that I consider Responsibility to be more important than Rights in all areas of politics and life.
And I consider Women and Men to be equal in responsibility.
Like in all killing (esp legal), there are often emotionally understandable reasons why people do it. Jus like with all the things I have ever done wrong. That doesn't mean I am a victim without responsibility, if I am an adult.
There is also no bad outcome from keeping or giving away the baby compared to killing it.
Ex Abortionists actually acknowledge that as false - aborting him/her usually is a worse outcome.
This is also the same issue for any ethical issue: people will still kill or harm themselves or others, even if it is illegal.
The issue is "when should killing be legal? Where do you draw the line? What is your answer?
