- After nearly 6 months of work, I present to you the Slime Rancher Iceberg!
Do be on the lookout for a sequel to this video, with tons of more entries, and a deeper look into each of the entries, and a higher quality overall. With the progress I've made so far, I am proud to make it the sequel to this video, and I personally think it is a much-needed improvement.

The incident between mochi and viktor is that she offered money for the manifold cubes formula, viktor denied it and then mochi did cyber attacks, and then viktor confronts mochi and she denied
I did some research after, and yeah, I missed it. It wasn’t the plort cloner, it was the manifold cube formula.

People keep making fun of BOb but for my first few playthroughs I had no idea he was like 10 pink slimes stacked because I could only see his head and I didn't look close enough to see the pink slime
Oh thank god I’m not the only one LMAO. I didn’t know until I could clearly see his whole body when he hijacks the interaction with Viktor in his lab.

In sr2 he is a pink slime on top of 2 quantum slimes, which havent been added yet… and also don’t eat chickens…. So…

Hidden areas might be referring to something I found, I had a mod that let me have infinite energy so I decided what if I try find the glass desert by flying over the slime sea? All I found was these weird structures that looked like the ancient ruins but like boxes, I didn’t explore much before jumping into the slime sea
If they were ancient ruins themed, they might’ve been the outside of the vaults, cause the vaults are actually located off to the side of the ash isle.

It is I have messed around with no-clip using mods and that sounds correct.
The glass desert is above the rest of the map. If you turn on no clip and immortality in the debug mod, you should be able to fly down through the ground in the glass desert and find yourself over the map from the rest of the world.

That tarr model is actually pretty terrifying.

For the catlike slime concept art at 12:55, I think that they combined the bottom left and bottom right slimes to create the Hunter Slime, because the one on the bottom right has the Hunter band around its eyes, and the bottom left one just seems to really resemble a Hunter Slime. Just a theory though! :)
The square slime is most likely a reference to the slime from Minecraft considering it’s one of the more iconic versions of a slime in gaming

There’s also a Cube model in the game’s files. Very basic so whatever it was meant for must’ve been scrapped early on. Perhaps slimes were originally gonna be cubed?

Mosaic Slimes: *Turning a natural habitat into a warzone*
The "tar's place in slime life cycle" refers to the plot hole that comes from the existence of both tar & gordos. If becoming a gordo is the only way for a slime to reproduce, why are they compelled to become largos, then tar? Unless the tar actually play some part in their life cycle like the gordo does.
But tar eat other slimes to reproduce, and they die on exposure to water and sunlight, things very integral to all other life forms. so what's the deal? Shouldn't those self destructive tendencies have been bread out of the population? If becoming a gordo is the goal, why largo at all?
Last i remember, the leading theory was some kind of "tar virus" that all the slimes are affected by, that compels slimes to eat plorts to eventually become tars and infect other slimes (the ones that get away).
I am so obsessed with slime rancher that on 2 separate times I dreamed of playing slime rancher 2.

About the rayvians, they arent only one, there are also bees that gather resources in apiary
The rayvians were the only ones on the iceberg. There’s also scuttlebugs that hen-hens eat in their coops too.
The cube slime text is also probably a reference to Minecraft's slimes, due to it being, well, a cube slime in a very popular game
I think its a reference to a loading screen text in the game. It says: ,,A crazy slime scientist once proposed creating cube-shaped slimes. But that's just silly"
Cube slimes is a reference to jelly from spiral knights, a game that Nick was lead dev before founding monomi park, more specifically due to when Nick appeared to public in game he used impostocube(a rare variety of jelly enemies) as his in-game appearance.
Happy to find more slime rancher fans!! And about cube shaped slimes at 8:09 there is actually a slime rancher mod where all slimes are cubed shaped

I keep idk why but saber-phospor largos and honey-hunger ones on the main place, at the lab i keep the pink-rock largos and the boom-tabby ones, and the grotto got the mosaics and the mosaic-tangled largos and lastly the overgrowth or the idk what it named got my little loved ones the ash eaters! (I forgot their name)
For 'ghost slimes' I cant remember for sure but I'm pretty sure there was some flavor text from Hobbes or something mentioning slime ghosts from the past in relation to the quantum slimes
The end was funny, good video with the commentary and basic gameplay in the background. Two things though, when showing the title slides, you could hear that the music playing was overlapping the background music, and the title slides for The Abyss chapter were too dark.

Rancher 2 is out!
Back in old versions of the game before the The Grotto got added in the Moss Blanket in the end of the Moss Blanket where is the portal to return to the Ranch there was a door to the left passing the portal, in updates later the Tabby Gordo in the Beach dropped a Key but updates later the Tabby Gordo drop changed to be a Portal and the Mysterious Door in the Moss Blanket also got removed making the Player in today days have a extra key and the content later that Door still unknown.
I wonder if anyone will ever go back to that version and noclip through or something
If I had to guess about the door, the entrance to the Ancient Ruins was probably planned for be there, and was then moved to the beginning of the Moss Blanket instead

Imagine a weather type just like the unused rain that instead of rain it would be colorful confetti and the clouds above would be balloons, this would only happen above where a party gordo is.
I feel like that would really fit well with the Party Gordo’s theming. It would be cool if they ever added weather back to add this too.
Imagine like snow and then there’s a winter slime and to keep it outside the snow time you need a corral upgrade that cools down the corral, which could also make some slimes get aggressive faster or slower, depending on it

If I remember correct, in Spiral Knights, there’s a rare chance that any Jelly Cube slime spawn in game will be replace with a slime name “Impostocube”
it basically a Pink Jelly Cube with hair, and a mustache, it also has a chance to drop accessory when killed.
Also when Nick log into SK in the server back before he left, his appearance is literally the Impostocube instead of a Knight like other normal players, even his profile picture in the SK forum.

I believe the tier 4 treasure pods are the black and purple treasure pods. They can only be unlocked after you max out 7zee rewards at what I believe is level 30. You then get to unlock the pods. They are hidden around the map or can be unlocked im H's vaults. I've found a few already but haven't been able to unlock them since each 7zee gets more expensive
Those are the tier 3 treasure pods. Tier one is grey and green, tier two is grey and blue, and tier three is black and purple
Also it isn’t locked behind 7Zee, but 50 lab items fabricated
8:10 I believe they are referring to the fact that someone modded cube shaped slimes into slime rancher in its early stages, the scientist which said loading screen tip refers to being the modder.

maybe the tar life scycle has something to do with what will happen to slimes in their lifetime?. first they get born from the sea made of slime then the might eat a plort, but after eating a plort then its only a matter of time they turn into a tar, and when a tar dies he shoots rainbow slime everywhere that might drain back into the sea. (i know the sea is also used for slime transportation not just birth)
Sea otters are endangered in the real world so I assume thats what they were reffering to with the otter charity

I had no idea spiral kinghts was made by the same developers ! i used to play that game all the time as a kid
brb running to my game files i have wanted rain in this game for so long! i always end up thinking of weather and temperature when playing slime rancher.. there is viable water for rain and lots of flora, which assumingly need that water. it also would definitely be warm all the time; but, is it a place with a seasonal cycle? is there any dangerous weather, besides dervish tornados, mosaic flares, and the solar event in the glass desert? because of the glass desert, we know that weather can be an existent thing. does it rain? does it snow? auugh i have so many thoughts about this

bro not gonna lie you kinda look like I am a concerned mother with a 13 year old child and I am here to seek help regarding my son. Last week when we went to the supermarket, my son pointed to a red trash can and started jumping around screaming “THAT’S AMONG US! THAT TRASH CAN IS SUS! RED IS THE IMPOSTOR!” As soon as he did that, the manager told us to leave. I told him that my son is just excited about something, and apologised. But the manager still told us to leave so I picked up the red trash can that my son was going crazy over and threw it on the managers head. Then my son shouted “DEAD BODY REPORTED.” Can someone please tell me what on earth is wrong with him?

You there's a chance that slimes can do a sneezing mean animation me all I hear is sneezing and all I'm doing is looking at my slimes and all of them are sneezing even when I get rid of the Tango slimes they never stop sneezing
That might be a glitch, but I've never seen that happen. Then again, I keep my Tangle Slimes away from my other slimes. You might want to ask in the Slime Rancher discord, cause they can help you better then I can in this situation.
