The first time I saw the Grand Tetons I was speechless. Unbelievable and majestic.
As for moose encounters, in the 70s as a teen we were hiking in the Adirondack mountains in New York state with a forest ranger. The ground started shaking on a narrow trail we were on, about 7 of us. Suddenly the ranger is screaming, "get off the path, get off the path!" He literally knocked us into the brush. I was on my back looking up when this monstrous bull moose came charging down the path. All I saw was massive nostrils and antlers cutting thru the trees and brush over my head. No one made a sound out of shock.
It was mating season. But the Adirondack moose is known as the "unicorn of mooses" because they are illusive and hard to find. Well, one found us that day. Lol a memory I'll cherish forever. To include the poison oak I got from the event.
Beautiful. I got to see this with my husband who is now deceased. Brought back memories. 💙💙💙
Had a summer job there in my twenties. I remember hiking around Jenny Lake and up to the falls. Beautiful place.
Thanks for the video beautiful scenery!!!!!!
That’s cool because I did that same boat thing and saw hidden falls and hiked the same trail you guys did on July 1st 2 days before you did
Who else besides me looked admiringly at that last moose grazing in the quiet serenity of the forest…then jumped when the stream roared to life? 🙋🏼♀️😜
Awesome ✌🏾
The antlers are most beautiful when they’re covered in velvet like that.
Awesome family experience! TY for sharing ❤️~ Michelle, CA ☀️
Awesome could mean death standing that close to a full grown moose. Stupid father.
Beautiful!!!
Just like you!
You are way too close to that last moose
And that edge of the freakin cliff, it's OK though there prob triple vaccinated
I was just scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else noticed that too. Trample much?
That is so awesome to be able to go hiking and see all the wondrous life in the forest. Blessup, stay safe and earthstrong. 🥰🕊️🙏🏻
Isn’t that place just amazing!
no, this place is not amazing Cliffs and wild animals close by
This gives me all the feels. GTNP is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been and made for the most memorable family vacation.
Amazing views
Hahaha he said “second and third moose of the day, mom and cub” 😂
🤣🤣
@@rebeccakennedy1167 wut?
One of the all time best hikes! Good job dad 👍
Gorgeous view
Did you say "moose #2&3 mom and cub"?🤭😉😆😂🤣🤣🤣 nice video though......moose are so strange looking 🤔
Wow, nice!
Nicely done...
I've been there, Beautiful 😍.
Stunning!
Love it!
Simply beautiful and experienced with the family. They'll never forget
That black moose is gorgeous
We literally did the same hike to hidden falls but didn’t make it all the way to solitude lake but we saw a young bull moose on our way back
Enjoy. You have a beautiful young family. Life is good and God Bless🙏
Hidden falls is one of my favorites !
Where is this?
@@martinenriquez3508 watch the video
Big bull moose during mating season is probably the most dangerous and deadly animal out there.
Young beautiful moose
Beautiful! My backyard so to speak. A Moose has a baby calf. Bears have Cubs. 😊❤️
Nice wholesome family stuff!!
Great memories being made.
Bet that water is really good and cold! I'd drink it lol
Used to live there. That is a 1-2 year old bull. A baby :)
Love the Tetons…all seasons
Have them in my yard pretty often. I never go to those touristy trails or locations.
Good for you. Not everyone lives out in the middle of nowhere.
Just for the record moose have calves not cubs!!
😂
There’s a moose in the hoose.
So beautiful
That age of kid is like our seal team. There bullet proof.
Such amazing natural beauty!
Lovely!
❤️❤️❤️
😮😍 moose
Beautiful
Beautiful location
Jenny Lake area is beautiful
❤💘👍
Absolutely stunning!
The side eye from that last moose
Handsome creature...
I think that Moose went to the same college as Bullwinkle, Wossamatta U.
Hey, Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit outta my hat!
Can you please tell me where is this beautiful place located at
Wyoming
That was beautiful, thank you for sharing.
If I'm not mistaken I think you were on Jenny lake?
A SANDWICH
Just so you know a moose is the second most dangerous mammal to humans in the world.
Hippos... polar bears... no?
Humans must be number one..
That was Bullwinkle, not a big bull. Come up to Alaska if you want to see a big bull. BTW a baby moose is a calf, not a cub. Lol. Amazing scenery though and the fact you got to enjoy it with your family even better. 👍
Did you just call a baby moose a “cub”? But, fun looking trip.
🤔🤔🤔🤔
Must be nice
What, no sasquatch?
At least he got the name right for the Bull Moose, but sucked on the names of the Cow Moose and yearling moose.
I was like ,"Yup figures!"when I heard 2 and 3...Mom and Cub.... These are the typical types of ppl that I find around my house. It's now defined as a resort area so ,yea....All we want to do 4 wheel, go out on the boat, build cars and drink at bars.. But no, spring to fall and that's what walks around all day and night. Btw I live next to Rehoboth and Lewes Beaches in Delaware.
Where was the Big Bull Moose? The one munching had a small furry rack...nature Bulls have very large brown tan coloured racks.
That's just a little guy. Come check out the bulls we have up here in Alaska.
Gorgeous views! Watch out for bison. They are in a bad mood this summer.
So is the giant moose this idiot got way too close to. He's lucky his family is still alive with a father.
Great shots! Moose have calves. Not cubs.
What is NP! Gorgeous
National park
Didn't look anything like Teddy Roosevelt to me
Moose look more majestic at a distance. Up close they look like mutant horses.
It's called calf
I see moose....but where is squirrel ??
Lunch hour
Obviously you've never watched MrBallen.
Glad to see you out and enjoying life
Small bull though and moose don’t have Cubs
If you're really lucky you may see a mother bear and her calf😆😆😆
Where do you go take a dump at if you need to
I thought you said a big bull Moose that one was just a baby his antlers weren't 35 inches not even legal to shoot in over half the he management units up here in Alaska. And young Moose are called calf's not Cubs
That was barely an encounter 🥱😳
Why would you, with your family, get that close to a moose like that? Wtf
Moose are pretty tasty 😋
Cub ???? Really. City folk are so funny
Isn't that beautiful
This in Idaho?
GTNP
Grand Teton National Park is in Wyoming.
@@FrugalFitDad You do carry a large caliber side arm at the minimum while hiking and especially while doing dumb shit like standing next to a Bull Moose right?
@@Dave-ur5ub pshhh that vaccine is all they need
@@poonplugdoonbug Your comments not showing up on my end for some reason when I open the thread.
What kind of gun do you carry?
Tell us you are white people without telling us that you are white people.
