@@marcpeters5529 I completely agree!
Stoke fan here, with 30,000 + fans, we don't need teams like Sheffield Wednesday going down, good luck to em.
Sheffield Wednesday have been incredible! What a difference a change in management made

Sheffield Wednesday on the verge of something incredible!
I literally just typed "incredible" then scrolled down and saw this 😂 But yeah, wow 😮
Two miracles in two seasons, supporting Wednesday is not for the feint hearted 😅
@@robbie3636The Owls 🤔
They are the miracle story for sure recruited well in January and are a different side now well done Wednesday !!
Get in there you dirty northern bastards
Big respect to the Owls and QPR. Wednesday is just short of a miracle. Before Christmas, it was a dead team. WAWAW
It was very grim around October/November
1 point to stay up WAWAW

From a Bristol city fan ⚽️I want Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesdays to stay up.

Think it will be Blackburn who will drop as I think Blues Wednesday and Plymouth will all win and cant see anything but a Blackburn loss

Thanks! Big followings to Ashton Gate from Argyle and the Wednesday.

Well done QPR & Stoke City. I did not see those wins against Leeds United & Southampton coming
As a Potters Fan I'm just as surprised as you, although the squad does have the quality to hang with any Play Offs Contender. This Season has just been an insane underperformance before the sacking of Alex Neil
Potters fan here, delighted we're safe. Well done Shuey and the lads ! Well sorted SJW !
@@nbr6116 It’s not an underperformance you guys do this every single year! Sick of your fan base thinking you’re a big fish in this league. Face it, you’ll probably end up in league 1 before you ever get back to the prem. Failing club with zero ambition
@@itsgettingdark1134 come on don’t keep it bottled up let it out 😂 it’s okay to CRY
i was confident we would take the points from st marys
Both Sheffield teams have been in bottom 3 for most of the season
But the last Two home games have seen over 64k fans in attendance in the steel city of Sheffield
SWFC 33,295k fans against WBA with only 2,400k away fans at Hillsborough Stadium
& over 31k fans at SHEFFIELD United
That’s over 64k fans for the last TWO Sheffield games with SWFC/SUFC
Birthplace of football Sheffield 💙
Massive club SWFC they have Premier League Fans 💙👍👊
It's great what the Wendy's have done/are about to do but, unfortunately leagues aren't won on attendance figures. Fair play to the people of Sheffield though. Especially the blades fans with their colander-like defence.
As a QPR fan, Ive been amazed even jealous of the form of Millwall & Sheff Wed. So relieved we're safe now.
COYRsss
If in December you told me on the final day that Wednesday would have their fate in their own hands and have climbed out of the bottom 3 I'd have laughed. What Danny Röhl has managed is nothing short of a miracle
Sheffield Wednesday fan here. Insane season, thought we had no hope of staying up and now us going down seems very unlikely
Same
Just hope either Brum of Plymouth don't win or we can get something at Sunderland
I would not like to be a Norwich City fan going to St Andrews on the final day
As a Coventry fan speaking from recent experience. It will be very noisy.
As a Wednesday fan, I am extremely happy to even be in this position of a contender after the abysmal start we had to the season. WAWAW 🦉
Absolutely bonkers season from top to bottom absolutely nuts and that's why we love the championship
Championship is way more entertaining than the epl idc what anyone says
💯
More entertaining and tougher, because they play 46 games.
Even as a Rovers fan, this is the best league for drama, nowhere near as predictable as the Prem.
If you asked stoke fans where they’d be at the end of the season they would’ve told you playoffs, if you asked Ipswich fans where they’d be at the end of the season they would’ve said lower mid table
Glad I'm a Stoke fan and it's all over.
hey fellow stoke fan!
As expected, this league has not disappointed
Best and most competitive bloody league in football. Always goes to the final day.

Confident of survival as a Wednesday fan, especially after battering West Brom. Want Plymouth to survive but I think they’ll be very unlucky in the end
Argyle aint unlucky theyve been shite.
Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday. Man, feel for the Sheffield fans.
What’s sheffield got to do with it, they’re non league 😀
109th and Sheffield Wednesday are on the verge of something incredible!
I think Sheffield Wednesday will be safe
Ye
props to Wednesday!!
Leicester fan here, and what a season!
Home advantage is massive, but the two teams with that (Brum + Argyle) have tough opponents, both fighting for a play-off spot. I can see plenty of goals in both games.
Rovers, I'm sorry guys but the KP is going to be rocking. After the last home game, tails will be up and I cannot see you doing what you did at Elland road.
Wednesday. You ignighted that boyhood 'Roy of the Rovers' spirit in me when I watched your amazing come back in the Play-Offs last year. And watching you now pull off a great escape has been thrilling to see. That win at Ewood Park (7k away fans!) was great to watch. Tricky one at Sunderland though. It depends what Sunderland who up, but you are in form and I'll think you'll be fine.
Norwich are poor on the road, I see a Brum win. Wednesday will get a result. Blackburn will lose, so for me it's down to Argyle against Hull. Whoever is the hungriest. If Argyle do it though, I see Blackburn going down.
Thanks for a great season!
Not the worse thing for Leicester to get relegated after all eh? They now have trophies for Premier League (2016), FA Cup(2021), Championship (2014, 2024), and League One (2009) in the 21st century. Only team who can say that.
I'd take that pal...WAWAW 😊😊
These videos are so addictive, thanks for the great work
Getting rid of Warnock and bringing Darren Moore was a ridiculous decision for Town.
Amazing video Matt, keep them up
I need Birmingham down as a villa fan but I haven’t been keeping up with the championship relegation battle and it’s way more interesting than I thought
3 points from 13, worst start to a championship season ever looking like pretty secured survival, deserved after the stress theyve put us through after peterborough last year and this relegation battle , 47 points in 32 games from rohl after taking over "the worst championship side ever" that ppg over the other 14 games wouldve made us a solid playoff contender , hopefully pen rohl down long term and see big things to come with a playoff push next season 👍👍
Think the table will stay as it is. I really feel for the Huddersfield and Birmingham fans in particular, but sacking Eustace in October would always risk them going into this. The board and the owners should be ashamed of themselves
Never seen a more spineless birmingham team. And I’ve been through Lee Clark, Steve Coterill. Even those squads had a fucking backbone.
So true.
Having seen them at huddersfield yesterday far from spineless. Got well stuck in. Lack of genuine quality their biggest problem
Cotteril teams had no backbone. Only Monk made that happen when he bought through Wes Harding and played Morrison instead of Roberts.
But even that team would beat this team. Both teams though gutless, spineless, worthless and hopeless.
Congratulations to Sheffield Wednesday for there incredible transformation......
That aside I think argyle will go down , alot of Argyle fans will say that when shuey left that was the turning point but for me it was losing finn azaz , he was the link between the defence and the attackers ... we looked lackluster at Stoke and at millwall yesterday.. its been in our hands for weeks and we haven't even shown we can mount sustained attacks in games ... ill always support argyle but a 13yr absent from championship was awful and to mess it up at the first attempt is just disappointing, I know its I our hands (of course I'll be there) but we have Hull who will want thar win to have any chance of getting in the play offs ....
20th Sheffield Wednesday
Im a Brummie and i think we going down to league one because i doubt we win against Norwich but maybe we might win because its a sell out. ' keep right on to the end of the road keep right onto the end' Birmingham city is my team for ever. KRO 🌍🏐 also i want stanno to be with us next season. BLUES SOTV

If Wednesday win the next game im off to Ladbrokes to put £50 on Wednesday being promoted to the premier League next season
If they keep rohl and survive i think next season theyll be looking at playoffs
The majority of comments tip Birmingham to survive. I have no idea where this performance is going to come from but I hope you all are right!!!
I think they are right and I’m a Plymouth fan. Playing Norwich who have nothing to play for at home I like your chances we have hull and are playing awful
@@richydoumbe0 I don’t think anyone realises how truly awful Birmingham are. Good luck anyway mate
ngl i doubt birmingham is gonna beat norwich, even at home, norwich are fighting for a playoff place but they dont need much to get it, so i reckon a draw is on the cards
Owls fan here, I think we've done enough today. Birmingham against Norwich is a big ask of Birmingham. I can't see Sunderland turning up to be honest!! Up the owls!! Onwards and upwards, in Danny Danny Rohl we trust. 🦉💖☝️🦉💖☝️🦉💖☝️
Sunderland vs Wednesday will be a very boring game. Wednesday need a draw and Sunderland have nothing to play for
Birmingham fan here, I can say I feel more confident about a win against Norwich at home then I did against Huddersfield away. Seems to be the Birmingham city way. I think we will win and still go down tbh... Unless Blackburn don't have what it takes to hold off Leicester in party mood. I think all the other results will go against us.
@@Shinso1337owls are the same mate, we don't turn up against teams we are meant to beat, and that horrendous playing from the back we did for so many games has cost us loads of goals/points.
That's the finest summary of one of the most complicated and difficult situations in football.

Just got back from Huddersfield and BOTH these teams absolutely deserve to be where they are. I said we were gone after we lost 1-0 against Cardiff. We then blow Coventry away and then turn in the 2 most tepid piss poor 'performances' i have seen all season and this is saying something. I can't wait until it's all over one way or the other. KRO
Great decision by the clot who sacked Eustace and appointed Rooney.
A fine summary!
Hopefully Preston players will be on the beach and West Bron score a couple of goals early so Hull have nothing to play for once the news fliters down to them at Home Park. I would love to see Plymouth stay up as I went to a game at Home Park when on holidays from Australia. Great town and the locals were fantastic.
Thank you. Now the R’s can relax. I live in Tokyo and when I woke up in the morning to see the QPR v LUFC result I was shocked to be honest. I liked how QPR wore next season’s kit. No unlucky red badge. 😂 I hope the CCFC v QPR match is entertaining.

Unlike the rest, Stoke was less of not having the quality and more not having an actual squad, rather individuals. All stoke needed was to adjust. I’d be shocked if they found themselves back in this situation next season.

Hats off to Danny Rohl. Chansiri is still a joke, but what Rohl has achieved is incredible. Just need to keep him now.
Honestly, I've been going through all the permutations myself and every time I look I get a different opinion. This is one of the best finishes to the championship in a long time. I'm so glad we (stoke) managed to get a win against Southampton. My heart goes out to the fans of all the clubs left involved, nobody likes to be relegated. I'd like plymouth to survive but unfortunately, I think they're for the chop, especially with a strong Hull side needing the win also. Norwich are fairly safe in the playoffs so I can see blues getting something.
You backed Wednesday all season, nearly proven right.
You believed in wednesday staying up, Matt, it's nearly done, it's going to be incredible if we achieve it, come on wednesday we can do it 👍 💪
The key is I think Plymouth are unlikely to beat Hull. After the draw last night, which was after you uploaded tbf, Hull need a win, while Norwich are pretty much safe. Maybe Hull press too hard if it's level late on, but Hull are no joke lately, they smashed QPR, won at Coventry and went toe to toe with Ipswich. So I see it as Birmingham have to win, and if they do Plymouth most likely go down.
Major credit to QPR and Sheffield Wednesday for their turnarounds.
Plymouth fans will get us over the line in Saturday!!!💚💚💚💚💚
You will need to show a lot more spirit than you did yesterday. Good luck but against an in form Hull side who have to win I am not optimistic for you guys .
@@DL1952 i was at the den and it was pathetic tbh….. but at home we seem to be such a contrast of a team ….. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Good luck on Saturday- hope Plymouth survive !
Im happy to see Wednesday in this position, but really they need one point to stay up because Plymouth and Birmingham might win.
Oh what an absolute knife edge KRO .
As a Stokie I'm astonished and so happy with the well deserved away win at Southampton. I'm so glad to avoid having to worry about the last day permutations. It's been a very nervous few weeks and Stoke seemed to miss out on chances to escape this much earlier. It's taken two big performances in the last two games to be sure. Looking at the bottom now I think Birmingham will join Huddersfield in the final bottom three because unless they get a helping hand like a Norwich player being sent off, I can't see them getting anything better than a draw against Norwich. However Blues fans can take heart from the fact my predictions have been hopeless and you'll go and roast the Canaries instead!

I think Plymouth could be the surprise team to drop…they seem the most likely to stay up (excluding Blackburn) and this league has a habit of throwing unexpected twists. Birmingham as bad as they are have a history of rescuing survival on the final day. Wednesday should have enough now, and Huddersfield are truly finished.

It could be that Norwich rest players for the play offs right?
They aren’t mathematically there yet, but it would take like a 12 goal swing. So I hope you are right
