Sad, that we did not know the history of the Mindanao Death March, through all these years, It has remained relatively unknown to us, hoping it would challenge the new bread of history writers to popularize in the academe the tragic story of how the American and Filipino POWs experienced undue brutalities and indignities during the WWII in Mindanao.
It is now time to rewrite the Philippine History textbooks and create more space for the participation of Mindanao in WWII.

I couldn't agree with you more, sir! Indeed, it's time for Mindanaoans to take part in bringing into consciousness the participation of Mindanao in nation-building, especially during pivotal moments in history like World War II. Aside from Iligan Death March, we also need to remember the decisive Battle of Ising which happened here in Davao del Norte no less. I'll be making a video about this in the near future when time permits!

Death marches are really horrible. Here's hoping this won't happen again in the future.
