    This is an easy gluten-free, few ingredient recipes that you can customize with any flavors.
    I am using Orange in this recipe..

    INGREDIENTS:
    -4 large Eggs (240g)-you don’t need to separate them
    -165g Almond flour/meal (1 1/3cups+1tsp)
    -100g Sugar (1/2 cup)
    -2 tbsps of Orange juice
    -1/2 zest of an Orange
    -1 tsp vanilla
    *try to add some strong flavors like orange, lemon or even almond essence as this is a egg base cake and you will get the eggy smell if you don’t add any :)
    8-inch cake pan
    Bake:
    350F degrees (180C) for 25-30 minutes until a skewer inserted comes out clean

    I made a small whole on the side and that will be my piece. Going to see him and Beautiful Grandsons now. Lovely, Delicious cake and some ham and cheese arancini I made for them for Dinner. My Beautiful Daughter always loves them. I think this time they will be even better.

    I added pure orange extract… and it worked… no eggy smell 👍 easy recipe…I wish I can send you a picture… my friend Tatiana can’t eat gluten, I’ll let you know what she thinks, is her birthday 🎉

    Oh my God! It is so yummy. I haven’t brought it to my Son’s yet. Will not be for a few hrs but had to taste it to make sure Good. It is, Sooo very good. Can taste the orange and almonds.
    This will be My Birthday cake next May, Di Sicuro!

    That looks lovely. I had a wonderful recipe which I made twice only and then lost recipe i had found in a magazine. This looks exactly like it. I can’t have butter and prefer olive oil. Thank you. Will make this on my Birthday, Thursday.
    Now to bed as need to be up buy 530 for work

    Lovely cake I would like to know several things firstly how many grams of almond flour
    Secondly what temperature in oven. As I did try this from another youtuber, mine came out wet. It didn't bind well. I really want to make gluten free cakes and so on. So far I get better results with wheat flour.

      165g almond flour. 350F(180C) temperature for about 25-30 minutes. Everything is listed in the description box below the video. Let me know how it comes out. I am planning to do some gluten free cake recipes in the future. Thank you 😊

    Even after 30 min,the top gets dark brown but the center is sticky..How to prevent this from happening?

    Correction to my comment, the bottom of the cake is white like it is not baked although it was baked and delicious.

    I think there’s a mistake on the measurements because 165 g it’s not one and three-quarter cups

      orange juice and zest is added to get rid of the eggy smell of the cake and of course the flavor. If you skip both cake will have a strongman egg smell.

      I've made this twice now. Once with orange juice and zest, and once without. The orange juice does add a nice flavor, but both tasted great. The one with OJ came out a little more moist. So, if you don't have OJ, you might replace it with water or milk or rum. I might make the third batch by replacing OJ with rum. Thank you, Sue Ran for the great recipe!

      Hi Sue Ran. I looked at so many almond cake recipes, before deciding to try yours! I decided to try yours because: 1. it contained more eggs than the other recipes, 2. it did not add butter (i have high cholesterol) or even oil for that matter, 3. it didn't require me to separately whip the egg whites, 4. it did not add baking powder or baking soda (not may recipes do, but some did). I'm glad I made the right choice! I'll have to try some other recipes of yours.

      You don’t have to use almonds extract as we are using almond flour. You could use a tiny bit if you want, might overpower.

      No baking powder. Volume is given by beating the eggs until they triple in size.
