Sick! It’s a great little spot! I actually found that the sound quality sounded better and less “tin sounding” when the ash tray cover was closed over the microphone!
How is the audio quality with this location? If you talk normally and look straight ahead?
I normally look and talk straight ahead and I have to admit, the quality is obviously not as good as holding a phone right up to your mouth but it is not bad at all! Interestingly enough, I found out that the speaking sounds less sharp and has a more full tone if you close the lid on top of the microphone! I use this every day and am so glad I mounted my microphone like this! If you try it, let me know how it goes!
Where did you wire the mic so that it connects to the head unit and my phone
There was a female audio jack coming out of the wiring harness for my radio. The mic just plugs into there and works with the head unit and my phone
@@giolascala7 Alrighty, Btw love your car, i have the same e46 but 2001 Dark blue colour and manual, wouldnt change it for anything despite it has little hiccups

@@giolascala7 Yeah dude, i have the stock 5speed one and it kinda is lacking the 6th gear since it has quite powerful engine
