- On todays episode of Piped Up...
We had the chance to test Alex's 2021 Subaru WRX STI as well as Christians 2023 Subaru WRX both equip with the AWE Track Exhaust!
Our goal with these Decibel tests is to find out how loud certain exhausts are on specific cars! It gives the viewer a better understanding as to how loud or quite an exhaust really is. Without having to rely on the video Itself.

Those are some clean subies. Can’t wait to hear the WRX when it’s modded. It’s no secret these new engines are capable of some serious sauce! Regardless, AWE track exhaust is the way.

Buddy's has no idea what power he's pushing with a pro tune, but is worried about exhaust note? BTW, wing and IC stencil won't change it being an FA/WRX.
I don’t think he cared about the exhaust note. That is something that “We” wanted to do because that’s the point of our new channel. We have 23 more cars to test for sound!

Is the awe track exhaust supposed to scream when doing a 3rd gear pull like at 5k rpm ?
Around 5k is what we noticed!

@piped_up it literally screams like it's uncomfortable. My oem exhaust never did that with an axle back. But as soon as the track was installed, it started doing it. It's fine all the time, but as soon as I pull it, it makes this wild screaming noise. I'm just troubleshooting seeing if anyone else has the same problem. I'll probably go with a weld cause clamps are ass.
it's a 3" straight pipe, no mufflers. it is going to scream.

Road noise kills the vibe inside. I want to convert my WRX AWE touring to the track version...but 1), $400 for bent pipe is a turnoff, a 2) my wife and neighbors would have me executed especially when returning home from work at midnight 😳 🏁
Hahahah we honestly didn’t think It was to bad inside but that totally depends on the person. I think at 100 dBs and over that would be annoying!
decent video, maybe proof read subtitles, unless you're doing voice recog... just don't do that.
