- Heey beautiful people ❤️!
So, we've been keeping a secret from you 🤭.... for some time now we've been wanting to make a change in our lives..
In this video we show you all about our step to leave DUBAI and EMIRATES airline, and every emotion that comes with leaving a life like this after 5 years!
Let's say that it has been a rollercoaster of emotions🎢
But, here we are 🙌🏼 Making the move!
We have many visions for us and our future and we feel so blessed in being able to take this step. We appreciate and say Thank you to all that has been, and Welcome to everything that is coming 😌.
Maybe we'll come back some day, who knows what the future holds for us 🤷🏻♀️
We will now show you our process through this and share with you our main reasons why!
We hope you'll enjoy the video,
and THANK YOU for being with us!!
Love & Peace ❤️
/Nathalie & Stefano
Hi Everyone!! We just wanted to come here and assure you that we are NOT quitting CZcams, we only quit our jobs at Emirates and are leaving Dubai for new adventures in life. We'll keep on posting as usual and bring you with us during our whole process. Also keeping our promise to continue uploading videos about Emirates for those who are curious about it. Hope you're enjoying the video and Thank you ALL for your support and love 😌❤ See you next week!!!
Eagerly waiting 😍
I can't wait😁😁
You need separation to grow in life.❤❤😊😊
Amazing move... Salute you for your courage to try something new. Looking forward to and wish you the very best of luck for many more adventures to come. Will be eagerly waiting for updates on your channel.
Bravo!!! You are very brave! But that's the way to go!!❤❤
This is how Emirates and other Middle Eastern airlines keep their crew young. It is usually made clear that employment as flight attendants at these companies are only a temporary stage of your life. Meanwhile in North America and Europe, some flight attendants work well into their 60's and the longer you work, the more seniority and perks you get at the company.
Also should be noted that at emirates you don't get citizenship and so u cannot stay, u always have to think ahead
when you blame the company and when it appears to us that it is the desire if both spouses in all simplicity it seems that they are not anjoying thier married life or perhaps they are thinking of creating a life independent of the routine jobs
Wrong. American and European crew are not as exposed as Middle Eastern crew. They get less work flow, they do not have thousands of services inflight, they get longer layovers outstation, meaning more period of rest. They have clear regulations and unions which help them with any ilegalities the company tries. On the other hand, a crew in middle east is flying until health starts giving signs. Basically, until exhaustion
@@mariandragne2188 I think all jobs in middle-east make workers toil until health is at stake. Its their work culture with some hidden paid slavery ingredients
The management like their crew like their champagne, fresh and bubbly. In EK one may only fly till the age of 50, then adios!
you guys are so much fun to watch! You only live once and getting out of your comfort zone to make a change for the better is the biggest step. All the best to you on your new journey!
Thanks for highlighting fatigue and health issues associated with lack of regular sleep.
This aspect of the job is conveniently swept under the carpet by those choosing to portray only the glamour.
I admire your decision to leave on a high. It is easy to get sucked in and get bitter after a while. Good luck with your future plans.

Im now struggling to go to the interview and try it or not. I’m a person who needs sleep And don’t know how exhausting it will be?
@@Ria23854 I’m a flight att and i can assure yiu that it is very exhausting with time .. at the first year you will be excited but then it will hit you ! Lack of sleep fatigue minimum of rest can affect our circadian rythme hormones and mood be ready to deal with it wish you the best of luck 🤞🏻

I could feel the tears you were holding back while closing those doors for the last time and all the memories which gave life and meaning to this place you once called, home.
Guys this is so exciting! I can’t even imagine how you both must have felt, nervous yet excited!? I can’t wait to follow your next chapter! All the best! Xx
Wow! Congrats. I was with EK 22 years till I got made redundant. Didn't get the goodbye I wanted on my terms. So happy you guys left on your own terms. I think I could have flown a few more years, I loved it, it kept me young and enthusiastic for life. Ones attitude dictates ones altitude. So fly high. Soar. Never let anything take your beautiful smiles away. Best of luck.

@@TravisEconomicninja Emirates airline code.
I have a lot of friends who worked for EK pre corona etc. They have a hell of a long idea of " Pay? Why you want pay? We give you 40 percent discounts in most restaurants! And you get tickets so be happy!"
22 years being as a crew ? Wow
I can relate to all those packings and stuff... lived in Dubai for 4 years and i could not imagine how stressful it was gathering what needs to go and what needs to go with me. As i was watching your video i felt the sadness since Dubai left an amazing place in my heart and i am sure in yours too. Have a good journey ahead and it is not the end but it's only the beginning to a new start.
So amazing how you put as #1 Lack of Sleep. Or in aviation lingo: LOS. 😂 I sat at the pointy end of the 380 and spent 20 years with EK experiencing every aspect of LOS. Getting booted and loosing my identity during the Covid chaos has been extremely painful, but every day I think of the extreme value of sleeping at night. My wife’s still an EK purser and I see the toll on her more every day. My wish to return to a job as a long haul Captain slowly dwindles toward zero as time goes by. I truly miss operating the airplane, having the world as your playing field, and that almost insane sense of freedom & available possibilities when you check into your room at one of the many exciting destinations. Yet again. LOS. Front & center. I can’t get away from it. I’ve never seen your channel before, but I’ll subscribe now & hope PV works out for you. I used to fly a 10-seat corporate airplane from LA at the beginning of my career, and some clients used to go to PV regularly so I’ve spent many nights enjoying local food & entertainment.
Woww… Great to see guys taking a big step in Life. I can totally relate and could see it coming as you are so conscious about the health (mental and physical).
There is a saying - “To reach somewhere, you have to leave from somewhere” 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Btw, you guys are great together, its really hard to find someone with whom you can align your thought procedure and life goals together, you guys are great story teller but at the same time very real, and that’s the thing about you videos.
I wish the best luck for your next adventure 🤘🏾
Love you guys…my heart swelled up on you guys sharing this such an important transition and event of your lives. Love you both. May God bless and guide you!
I could also feel the emotions you guys captured so well here, being an expat in Dubai for just over 5 years - the thoughts of what next is definitely scary! Wishing you both an amazing start to your journey and hope to see you both in Mexico!
Thank you so much Justin!!! Absolutely, if you're ever in Mexico let us know 😍🙌🏼

Dubai starts to suck real fast, after like 6 months.
Expat? Why can’t you say immigrant? Dubai is a soulless petrodollar vanity project.
Congrats on the big decision! Having done my share of the packing and leaving, I can feel your mixed emotions! I bet editing this video helped create closure, too.
Here's to the new and exciting adventure ahead!

What a well made video ! Perfectly edited and it shows the efforts while filming it ! All the best guys 👍👍👍
You have each other to make transition easier. The moving to whole new world is much harder mentally and physically. Having someone makes it a little easier. Much success
Wish you guys the best with your future ventures.....more proud of you for taking accountability of your dreams, projects and living your lives. That's what life is about. Taking, giving and living.
Guys, wishing you both the very best in your next phase of life! Great bold move, but you made the correct decision for yourselves and your health. Bon Voyage and Godspeed!
That 'mix of emotions' always leads to an exciting future. Just face it - we all have to go through it, but make it worth it at the end.

I just got to see your video and it’s beautiful to see that you both are doing this together with so much support of each other and look into the future for a new beginning how wonderful
Aw all the best! Brings back all the memories and feelings, I left EK end of 2018 after 5 years. Was also in Silicon! Give yourself some time to adjust and settle in to your new life. Good luck x
I loved everything about this video. Thank you for taking us along the journey. All your reasons to quit are valid and I'm proud of you for taking the bold step and doing it. All the best in your future endeavours.
Thank you so much Mercy ❤️❤️❤️
You guys will look back and be grateful that you listened to your hearts/guts to quit. So many times we never listen and just end up in terrible situations especially health-wise. All the best.
This video was full of feelings. Best of your luck for your new beginnings!
Love this channel so much … wishing you guys all the best in your new venture
I really enjoyed watching this video, again it’s not easy to leave all this behind, but I am sure in years ahead when you look back you will know that you made the right decision. Keep up the good work, and can’t wait for your next video in 🇲🇽.
The emotions both of you went through leaving your office and your apartment for the last time forever... It brings back memories. Memories of the time I was living in Bahrain and had to leave it... Leaving the apartment was the hardest part for me.
The emotion captured when you guys entered HQ, and crew accommodations, I relived this through you again. I left on amazing terms after a wonderful flying experience. It comes with it’s pros and cons but overall I was quiet fortunate to enjoy my travels and life in the UAE. All the very best to you on your next endeavours and journey ❤️. I’m back home in San Diego, very close to Mexico 😂
Aweeeee, thank you for letting us be part of your journey. Good luck In everything. Take care both of you.
Congrats to the both of you! Be safe and enjoy!
You guys are so inspiring! 🥰 Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Much love, from a Filipina crew working in the PH 💕
While moving out of Dubai we had the same process. We had to sell all our thing's which was kinda hard because we've been living there for years. We've to leave our friends behind just for a new and a better job. Good luck to you guys ✨

Beautiful couple! All the best and thanks for sharing! I finished working for Emirates as a Graphic Designer in 2020 and am now back in Wellington, New Zealand.
watching this almost made me cry. When i got redundant, i was super ok and peaceful, but the very last day when i had to drop my apartment keys and head to the airport, i cried so much , and during the flight as well. I did not had the best experience in Dubai but i had amazing opportunities which i wasn't able to enjoy because of mental health issues. Anyways, it was a beautiful and challenging chapter. Good luck on your new chapter as well.
Hi guys, As a frequent flyer with EK I want to take a moment to thank you for your service. I have flown 28 flights so far with EK. And never had a bad experience. No matter if it was upper deck or main deck. The thing is, not many understand what it means to be a cabin crew. It's just serving coffee & tea and look pretty, right? Far from it. And I am fully aware of this as I also actually work with EK at my airport. Make no mistake, I do pay for my tickets though :) It should however not matter if I work with the company or not. I always treat cabin crew with the respect they deserve. So again, thank you for putting up with all those pax who think they own the airline just because they fly upper deck. Wish you both good luck on your new endeavors.
You guys are courageous for doing this. All the best for your next chapter ❤️
Congratulations on taking this important step! All the best!!
I work as airport security for 5 years and I wake up at 3am very often so I cannot even imagine having to deal with different time zones and traveling back and forth, totally understand your reasons to leave. Wish you all the best!
I wish you both continued success in all your future endeavors. All the best as you both start a new phase of your life..one love from Jamaica 🇯🇲
Thank you so much ❤️🙌🏼!!

Hello you both! I lived and worked in Dubai for 4 years (as a teacher) and I also quit and left in July 2021. I miss the lifestyle and weather but it was the best decision for my mental health :-)
Why it’s better for you mental health

You're absolutely right 🙌🏼 Thank you so much ❤️
That was so emotional😢..be safe where ever you go👍🏻
Guys, have a wonderful and happy new chapter in new country 💕💕💕
They make a ton of videos romanticizing their lifestyle and now drop the bomb that they didn't actually like their employer and lifestyle. smh.
Why you should never believe anything you see on the Internet
They have been saying since the first videos that they want to leave, they wanna do less hours. If u came and only saw 2 videos, that’s on u.
Exactly!
Losers and liars
They blame the lack of sleep and they go out on their lay overs to film and listen to your body bs.😂🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻.and they moved to Mexico to spend their life there because they realize they liked it there, I mean no judge but with no plan just to move there.people do anything for their five minutes fame. Good luck with new video we come back…..😎😩
That video was really well made ! I could almost feel I was living this big milestone with you both.
You have thought it through a lot, so your decision is the best one. I wish you lots of luck for your new life outside emirates !
Thank you so much ❤️!!

Good luck guys for new chapter in your life. Stay strong.
Really felt a lot of emotions while watching this video. Wish you all the very best for the future!
I was very glad to flown with you guys , I work as captain :)
Flight attendants, prepare for take-off please. 🌏😄
This was so bittersweet. I used to be a ticket agent at JFK Airport for Air France 2000 - 2001 (I had to work the day the Concorde crashed), and for American 2001 - 2008 (I was with them when September 11th occurred and when AA587 incident occured). I guess bad luck really followed me around. I wanted to call it quits after that but a coworker talked me out of it. The following 7 years I scratched my itch for travel THOROUGHLY. But eventually I just walked away and never looked back. I basically got burned out and the pay sucked. I'm now retired at 62 and I do not miss the workforce. But the travel itch is (slowly) returning. I am anxious to see more of your new life in Puerto Vallarta. It's on my travel wish list of places I've never been to. Your videos of PV from 2021 really sparked my interest in going there so I will probably go in 2023 with friends who have already been there several times. Puerto Vallarta seems like a vibrant spot without all the hustle and bustle of Mexico City, plus it's on the ocean. I've watched many videos of PV and the scenery is absolutely spectacular, especially the sunsets. And the cost of living is affordable unlike here in the USA. I am so happy for you both in making this drastic change in lifestyle!!! You are good people and I am sure GOD will bless it abundantly. Much success in the future. 😎😎😎
Be careful there. The US put a warning about that area on the gov't website. Just watch your back.
Any place is beautiful when you are on vacation.....you see the cracks once you live there long term.
Totally feel you. Did that 4 years ago for personal pursuance as well. All the best and take care! ✈️❤️
Awesome for you guys! Mega glad for you!
I would like to spend a word in favor of the elder flight attendants I first met on American flights, I really loved it! They were kind, prepared, almost motherly caring and with a valuable experience in rough situations. All precious things that make an older attendant an asset, not a liability!
True. EK discriminate and have no trade union.
This really felt like the beginning of an adventure! Best of luck ! 💜
It absolutely is ☺️🙏🏼!! Thank you!
Good luck , great to see two people with a plan and the guts to carry it out.
What a nice channel you have, resonates with me so much 💜 Grazie and safe travels🙏
Aww I felt so sad and happy at the same time. I got into your shoes and felt everything you did. Anyways, wishing you all the blessings and success in life! Love from Bulgaria 🇧🇬💖
Thank you very much ! ❤️❤️🙏🏼
You guys brought back memories of nine and a half years, going back and forth to the HQ. Seeing you packing and the mixed emotions showing on your faces, I had them when I was doing the same 2 years ago. The circumstances that made me leave were different than yours, because you took the decision and I was made redundant. I hope you find your new path if you didn't plan it already, and wish you the best of luck.
PS: you might be missing dubai and the cabin crew life, but focus on your new goals.
what does "made redundant" mean in airline terms?
@@rgfan12345 it's not actually an airline jargon, but it is said when someone is dismissed from their job by their employer.
Good luck guys! Wish you all the Best! ❤️❤️
I just watched this (after watching you two work for the airline) and I am so excited for your adventure! Exciting times! ✨
Hi, I feel so touched by this video. First thing, it is so good to see you two at same pace and take the step together. Second thing is i also want to make that change in my life, i've been thinking it for sometime, but i am alone and have nobody to discuss and plan for it together, don't know where to go yet, also i am so weak to accomplish it at this time by myself. I think i got pushed by your video also to work on the plan. Thank you. And wish you a good start in the new city. 🤞🤞
Thank you Cecilia for the comment! And we are really happy to see that this video of us quitting the job gave you an extra push to move forward with your goals and dreams 💭 💫 Hopefully just what you needed to plane and make the first step!

You did the best thing...nothing is as good as being in control of your life, time and everything about you. Before you get into you are afraid of what might happen but once you dive in, it becomes easy because you are doing what you want without being forced. Remember when you are employed, your everything is controlled because everything you do depends on your work schedule that's designed by someone for you not by you. Am not a motivational speaker...am just saying it as it is.
Therefore, you may fear but you will be fine.
WISH YOU ALL THE BEST... WE'RE HERE WITH YOU. REMEMBER YOU ARE LEGENDS ALREADY
I've been living in Dubai for nearly ten years I had to leave due to spouses decision to move back to their country. I have not been able to reconcile not living there anymore for nearly 2.5 years and get confused when people choose to leave it. It was the best thing I ever did in my entire life.
Everyone has different needs and reasons. Best thing I did was leave as it’s difficult to not get a toxic lifestyle there. It’s a major transition going on there now. The younger ones are now coming back and the king timers leaving
You remind me of when i left England to go to Australia. By myself though, nowhere near as many suitcases, but the same amount of Excitement and apprehension all the same. The feeling is like nothing else. Hard to breathe on that long walk to the departure lounge as your family bids you farewell. Take care.
This reminds me of my last days with Qatar airways as cabin crew.At that moment I was so eager and nervous to pack all my stuff and return back to Sri lanka but now when remembering about it ,it's a bit emotional.
I had a lot of stuff to pack and thanks to my two flatmates who made that process easier.
One was from Philippines and the other was from Bangladesh .Living with two other fellow Asians made my life easier because we Asians have a lot in common to share .
All the best with your future endeavours.
Can I talk to you?cuz I wanted to become a cabin crew in Qatar Airways and it would be so helpful if you could tell your experience on working in Qatar airways.
@@itsmeanjuz1043 Hi.well its actually nothing big though it seems like that.
Just do your homework and prep work.
Everything you need to know is in their web page .Don't panic or overthink ,just be simple and smart .
Make sure you are prepared before applying and don't have any regrets .
Take one step at a time and do not be nervous.
Try to look like a Cabin crew on the interview day but don't over do anything.
Hope this helps u.
FYI: Qatar airways has very strict rules and regulations for their Cabin crew.
If possible try to apply for Saudi Airlines or Etihad airways because I found Saudi airlines interview much easier comparison to QA.
