Finally someone with a lot of kids lol we have 4 (8,4,3, 7 month old ) so we family of 6 lol and needs help 😩 and we taking a plane as well but going to Disneyland in cali from Texas . Lord help us 😩😩
lol yes girl I totally feel you! Honestly, those ages sound pretty good! It's the 3 year old I would make sure to stock up on all the goods haha. Your plane flight should be about 3ish hours right? You absolutely got this friend, you're going to have so much fun at Disneyland!
@@OurCrowsNest5 yes ! 3 year old gonna be the issue here 😂 and yes 2 hours and 50 minutes ish .. we loose a couple hours as well because of the time difference so that should be fun 😂🤦🏿♀️ we have been on a plane before to Arizona but I cannot remember for the life of me about the strollers . Do you know if you can check in a stroller ? Ours is technically a wagon stroller (4 seater ) . I know when can bring car seats for free per adult .. but I can not remember the strollers. I was going to bring it based on a hope and a prayer 😂
@@marissathomas9327 You can absolutely bring a stroller with you! We've done both a single and double stroller before. We usually gate check ours because we always have layovers and use that stroller at the layover airport, but if you're going direct to LAX or SNA, you can check it in when you check your luggage in! How long are you at Disneyland for?? So excited for you guys!
@@marissathomas9327 Oh! and get a large carabiner from Lowes or Home Depot! If you're planning on taking snacks, diaper bags, buying a lot at the parks, etc, those large carabiners are absolute life savers and are super heavy duty!

Those are great tips my best friend bought each of her kids a Fanny pack and her kids get 50 broke down in to 1’s and change also each child has portable chargers in there bag . They also have the arm phone holders that there phones and dollars go in. Hats are a must and a portable fan
Such a great idea about the fanny packs! When my kids get older they’re definitely going to have to be holding their own stuff because my park bag was getting so heavy this trip lol! Thanks so much for watching!💗
At target, you can even buy gift cards online and they send you an email with the barcode. We grabbed a couple before our trip and then ran out halfway through, I was in the park and just bought a couple more online which were delivered to my email within the hour, and still received the 5% off with my redcard.
Can you use those at the gift shops?

Love the packing tips! I have never been able to link a gift card to my Magic Band. I didn't know they started doing that! Fascinating!
Hey thanks so much for watching! Yes! Take your gift card to guest services and have them apply it to your room, and make sure you magic band is set up for charges to your room (you need to create a 4 digit pin) and make purchases with your MB and the amount charged will be taken off your room portfolio. @@OurCrowsNest5 when you say Guest Services, is that the front desk of your resort lobby, or guest relations in the theme parks?
Just a small tip for packing for kids. Role them up with the outfit for the day. Also, divide up every ones clothing in checked bags. that way if your bag gets lost, you can pull some clothing our of you partners bag. Your puppy is so cute.

Did you find that you didn’t need the quarter and Pennies for the pressed penny machines? When I looked on a pressed coin site it seemed like Disney changed their machines and cost $1 per pressed coin and you had to use cash or credit card. Wounding for our trip to Disney springs in a couple of weeks.
Ooh thanks so much for bringing this up! You're right, there was no need for the pennies and quarters it seems like everything is digital now, which makes it more convenient (but kinda less fun lol!) But if you're driving around in your own car or a rental, definitely bring quarters for the tolls. I hope you have an absolutely amazing trip, I'm going back myself in about 4 weeks!

Thank you so much for your comment! Are you asking about the snack bags? Those bags I packed into the kids carry-on(they each brought their own backpacks with a few books, their games, and a 'nighttime friend' which is basically a stuffed animal/character from home). This gave them the freedom to choose whatever they wanted from the snack bag! Oh man, best parks for kids that age would definitely be Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for sure! Lots to do and lots of thrills. However, Animal Kingdom would absolutely be up there too because of Dinosaur, Avatar:Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and all the amazing trails. If you have any more questions, definitely ask away, I love talking about Disney when I can lo! I hope you have the BEST time ever! 🥰

Based on your experience, which of the packing cubes did you end up preferring?
Both brands held up so nicely! But I think I’m gravitating much more to the pink Bagail packing cubes! I like the larger ones that are included and they are much larger than the Veken brand. I’m actually doing a solo trip in a week and was going to do a solo video with only using Bagail cubes! 💓

@@OurCrowsNest5 you should definitely do it! My husband is skeptical of them or compression cubes? But I’m like we are packing for 5, 2 of us for 14 days and 3 of us for 10 days. I feel like we need them at this point. 😂

Could you purchase just one order of them now, load it up with some clothes just to see how you like them and to show your husband as well? That'd be a great way to determine if they would work for you, but I think they absolutely would especially in your case!

How often do yall go ?
We generally go every 2-3 years! We tend to save up our DVC points so that we're able to get the larger rooms for the 5 of us and since Florida is such a trek from California, we try to stay as long as we can! If there's enough points, we try to stay a night or two at Disney's Grand Californian, but that's very hard to get it. I prefer Disney World anyway haha! 🥰

Yes! Thanks for bringing this up, I actually threw in 3 bananas right before leaving that day for our flight. I didn't want to pre-pack them in case of browning and bruising. But definitely apples, carrot slices, grapes are perfect for flights!
