  • I'm sorry about the late start. It has been such a hectic week. With doctors and just trying to get healthy again!! We are getting better but we were warned that it could take a long time. That long covid just kicked our rears.
I am doing this video on making inlay tools for silver inlays.. The main reason is it was just a little easier to do right now and I believe it is important to do. I really worked hard trying to do inlays when I first started doing them. Bought tools just didn't make it for me. So I started making my own, and that worked because I could make them to fit my hands and my needs. I will have more on inlays in the future.
I want to thank my new subscribers and of course thank my regulars. It's been quite a journey, and I'm glad you all are with me!!

Thanks for the video. One valuable take-away that dawned on me watching you shape your blade was the notch you ground into the side to narrow the cutting tip. By cutting that notch to the mm dimension of your vertical wire (ex. 3mm), you have a gauge as to how deep to be cutting your pattern. That helps prevent a shallow cut in spots which might result in deforming your wire when trying to set it to depth.
