"Some of the most intimate things are done in the dark. Think about it, you visual people. "
Hands down best line ever
I love that response

how does he know?
Good punchline but it s not true lol
love that line so much 😂😂
I have a blind friend and somebody asked him, "How do you see?", and he just responded, "...I don't...That's...That's the thing"
"Have you ever seen the color of a blueberry"
"No, I haven't seen anything. That's the point."
What a beautiful DUWANG lol i know that meme

"how do blind people have sex?"
"i dont know. some of the intimate things are done in the dark anyway, think about it, you visual people."
I laughed so hard at that question
But don't you need some sort of visual to get excited? I'm confused
Oh my god I died when I heard that.
mtsurl it feels good...
There are some weird ass fetishes out there like being blindfolded
One is a pianist, and another has a PhD, it is weirdly motivating, these people have gone through so much yet achieved that much in life
exactly and here I am
@@fallisdying2077 No you can do better I believe in you
These are people, they aren't meant to be motivational. I get where you're coming from but it's kind of ableist to say "if I blind person can do whatever, I should have no problem achieving My goals" especially given that you find it "weirdly" motivating instead of just being motivated by other people's achievements
Fallisdying Whenever I feel like that, I ask myself whether I actually want to do what they’re doing or whether I’m just feeling inferior. If there’s something you want out of life and this video has made you realise that then definitely do what you can to work toward that. But in my case, for example, I’m not interested in getting a Ph.D. and while playing the piano would be kinda cool I don’t want it enough to deal with the expense, logistics, etc., so I just accept that these guys are better than me at those things and that’s OK.
Nitya Kakade but that outlook is kind of the whole problem. As a disabled person I absolutely hate that whole ‘oh well if you can do xyz after all you’ve gone through than surely I can’. Not everything I’ve accomplished has to do with my disability. Also I’m disabled. I’m not ‘differently abled’. That phrase needs to die. You’re coming from a good place, but it’s important to actually listen to what disabled people are telling you about how they do and don’t want to be treated.
Walking away in the middle of a conversation with a blind guy is just cruel.
They talk too much bruh 😂😂
Its considered rude and ill mannered in my country lmaooo we were taught to be humble and it actually makes people hate you instead of think you are cool no matter who you are when you try to do something like that. Sometimes others would approach you or the blind person and talk about it. It kind of is awkward for both parties when they try to do something like that lmao
Killer Mario also pushing them....it made my hear broke
@@lspellslogic877 u r from Japan right?? I heard Japanese people show a lot of respect to others regardless of their status in society
Honestly there’s certain conditions where I see it’s okay. For example; I have friends when they are severely frustrated, they need to walk away to prevent themselves from snapping back or saying something rude. So in that sense, it makes sense, blind or not, I feel like if this is a common thing for someone they should just let the person know before hand, therefore; whenever they get angry or upset, their friend or whoever they are talking to won’t be surprising. Plus, you gotta also remember about people who have panic attacks or other mental conditions where they are incapable of talking or doing something sensible when under stress or aren’t feeling like themselves. But if that person just did that for no reason that’s cruel and messed up.
The “they don’t answer or pretend to not be there” and “i end up talking to myself” broke my heart.
Same...
Yeah honestly, what the fuck?
I feel so bad!
Who would do that?
People can be such dicks, sometimes. But I understand that it can be hard to know what to do or how to respond in such a situations.

Yeah wtf no matter who you are you should know thats messed up even if ur a murderer u would know thats fucked up
exactly, like honestly you could give them a heart attack, especially if they cant see you
People who want to help but don't know how?
@@otaviojohannjardim1702 noone should touch strangers unless its an emergency. Common sense.
People tend to treat you like a child when you have a disability. It doesn't even take much. I stutter and I'm looked down sometimes. Or they will try to help but it's... Unnecessary? Strangers be giving me their advice on how to not stutter because seeing the King's speech ones suddenly makes them an expert on something I had for the pas decade on a daily basis. To all the people that caught me on a bad day, I'm sorry I might have overreacted but it does get very frustrating sometimes.

Exactly...he seems intelligent and have a great conversation skills
@@absolutelynot6086 The grief & frustration are pretty horrible. I'm not sure if I have lost more or less than 50% of my vision over the last 20 years but the limitations have impacted my life greatly. Even though I've had the luxury of adapting with a gradual loss, at times it feels like climbing a new mountain again and again and the sense of dependency gets deeper & deeper. Although, when I get irritated about how difficult it can be to perform what used to be simple tasks, I remind myself that at least I have some vision AND a reference - I may not be able to differentiate colors anymore but, at least I know what they look like.
You're so right about the new identity. I am no longer the outgoing person I used to be. Now, I'm mostly anxious about approaching people for fear they aren't who I expect. It's tricky to judge the right moment to join a group without knowing if someone has given the "welcome" nod or look your way. Also, it's embarrassing passing by people I probably know without greeting them & when my husband has to 'introduce' me...again. Of course, that's IF he remembers their name & if he doesn't, I stand there stupidly, not knowing if I've met this person before - AWKWARD! For those reasons, I keep life simple and small, with lots of acceptance for the cards I was dealt. Otherwise, I'd be crying (or raging) all the time.

Genuinely shocked that so many people seem to think grabbing someone's arm like that without permission is okay. If someone did that to me on the street I would think they were attacking me or something jesus
czcams.com/video/dGIuSeGtXQE/video.html
Nah, that’s a bit of an overreaction
I’ve had people do it to me and I’m just quietly murmuring “please stop…I-I can w-walk…” but sometimes when someone asks me if I need help and then they just put a hand on my shoulder and steer me, I don’t mind. At the last week of school, we were on the stage doing a performance for the little kids, and our drama teacher was just saying “backstage people, over on that side!” And I was just shouting, all panicked, “Which side? Where? What?” because obviously I couldn’t see where she was pointing. A boy from my class came up to me and said, “You can’t see right?” He knew this, since I’ve know this kid since grade 2, but I think he was asking in the context of if I couldn’t see in that moment, because I do have functional vision. I said yes, so he put his hand on my shoulder and guided me to “that side”. I really appreciated that because about 20 seconds later, the curtains opened. I hate when I ask people where something is and they just say “over there!” or “right in front of you!” or “you SeRiOusLy can’t see that?” Guys use the clock system. Imagine the blind/visually impaired person is in the middle of an analog clock, 12 being directly in front, 6 behind, 3 right, 9 left, and then just everything in between. It’s much more helpful than just saying over there while pointing because a lot of the time, the person can’t see where you’re pointing and it just gets them riled up and annoyed.

One of the best experiences I had in life was being a travel companion for a blind man from French Guinea. We were on an excursion from Paris to Barcelona and I guided him through the city, having to describe everything in French (not my first language). When we met with the group, we all shared our “sightseeing tours” and we covered more of the city than anyone else, which granted us a huge chocolate bar prize from our guide. The most amazing thing, though, is that almost 2 years later I was again in Paris, went to an excursion to the Loire Valley and the guide happened to be the same.
first time in my life i know someone who is blind from a chat app. when I want to send my photo and he says it's useless because he can't see, I really want to cry. then I found information about an accident that made him blind in the past. These people are so amazing. I wish them the best in life.
I recently got a teacher who is blind, he teaches me how to play piano by listening to me playing and yesterday we spent hours after my class time talking about our choices of music, he even told me how he got blind when he was a kid and he way cool with he, he is a very kindhearted person. And in the end, he said to me, "You can talk to me about anything which isn't related to music, I will be happy to talk to you as a friend anytime", and we live in two different states so we always have online classes, so I was so happy after my class ended, that was the most wholesome conversations I've had with someone in my entire life and would stay with me forever even though I'm 13.
the piano player is hella cute tho
Glittering Yam yeah!!!
I thought i was the only one with that opinion 😶
Yes but its sad for his eyes :(
Glittering Yam I have no judgment on him at all. My step sister is blind and deaf. I just feel sorry for them because their eyes are completely white or almost.
Glittering Yam I have no discrimination on him at all. And i have no discrimination on people handicaps. I, myself, have a mental handicap
You should do "questions that blind / deaf people appreciate" or "good questions to ask".
It would put a positive spin on this idea and potentially help start open and productive conversations between people.
Anna Carthy exactly. Like of no one knows anyone who's blind and to be polite they're trying to help blond people to cross the road or help them on general, regular ppl should know the manners and then they would follow that.
I mean it's not like we were trained to know how to interact with blind people, especially if he have never had experiences with blind people before. And the questions people ask, of course personal/private Q's are not questions to be asked, but other questions like how do you catch a bus, go to washroom or determine between colours are normal questions and ppl ask the just out of curiosity
Yes, exactly! There needs to be more open conversations on HOW TO INTERACT, not just how not to interact.
I think a lot of people are uncomfortable or anxious in certain situations, such as meeting a blind person for the first time, and it's mainly because are scared mainly of saying the wrong thing, and offending or upsetting the other person.
I think talking about conversation and how to interact with one another on a person to person basis will help people who were possible just ignorant, have meaningful and positive interactions with people of other communities.
Anna Carthy that's true I agree
Anna Carthy I
Anna Carthy I
Image if I lost my eyes I just want to die😕 I feel so sorry for them and 100% respect those blind people who can be positive and optimistic. God bless y'all.
i’ve actually met Mac before at a wedding, and his daughter and wife. his playing was wonderful, and he was kind. his daughter is adorable btw!
I have a blind friend and when people ask him things like "are you blind?" (because they want to annoy him) he always answers "I'm blind but I can clearly see how dumb you are"
edit: there's a group of guys in my school that like to annoy him with the fact that he's blind, that's what I meant by "people". He's always really nice when anyone else asks about it, of course he isn't going to call a random person dumb just because it's fun. Please stop saying that he's rude/mean.
Wow!
What a legend
Damn i got a feeling that I will like your friend even idk him xD
And he becomes the CEO of google in a few years lol...
What a bloody legend

So sad he can't read ur comment
First guy reminded me the late David Bowie, he's so cool and humble.
I love their attitudes to life. It's one thing to never have a sense because you don't know what it's like and live with it in relative comfort but I think losing eyesight is a lot harder for a person due to the huuuge advantage and convenience eyesight provides that they're used to.
*The first guy in the light green shirt is ADORABLE.*
