We aew closer to the Wisconsin River which is also very high.
I live very close to the Mississippi. It's flooding all around us here. Tri state area, WI, MN, IA.

I was going to ride the Tomorrow River State trail between Manawa and Plover today. The weather forecasts did not indicate a day of soaking rain, they gave it a chance of rain.

Hi Mary... it is pronounced Man-ah-wah... many of our Wisconsin towns have Native American names that are very hard to say by looking at how they are spelled. Check out a WI Map if you ever want to have some Fun with Pronouncing them.

Our infrastructure in our America is badly damaged and in need of immediate repair now or sooner. About all of the bridges, overpasses and exchanges, highways, and dams.
