Sighs That was the unfortunate thing about these two series. Seriously he can't even punch?! That's stupid because I'm cartoons like Batman and even X-Men they threw punches.
Whoever did the voice of Wolverine here is the best one. Whenever I read him speak, this is the voice i hear. Perhaps its the nostalgia. Steven Blum isn't bad either, but I really like this voice.
When you have so little impact on the current situation that chucking a bomb at two people in a scuffle doesn't make them acknowledge you at all... Go into the corner and rethink your career decisions lol.
Mr Niz Believe it or not, the show was so heavily censored that Spider-Man wasn’t allowed to throw punches either. I’m honestly surprised they even showed Wolverine’s claws.
To all people saying Spidey would win. Untrue. Agreed Spidey is significantly and indubitably more stronger and agile, but that's about it. Wolverine is indestructible and has a healing factor nearly makes him invulnerable, he can be killed but it would take alot to do especially in a fist fight it seems far-fetched, its hard to say who might win. But saying spidey can beat wolverine is untrue.
@S3rv0k that's not what I'm talking about. I already know that that already exists. I was talking about a direct continuation of that series similar to what they did with the X-Men via X-Men 97. You literally missed the point.
+TheCockeyez lol yea, unfortunately as good as these shows were they were afraid to show an actual punch and when they did they would put a white flash on the screen. Batman TAS on the other had was a different kind of show all together that pushed that limit!
+Vicboss TV It wasn't Marvel, FOX kids didn't allow violence on their station at all and the creators of the show didn't know that till after they made the 1st few episodes.
I have these razor sharp claws for stabbing and cutting... But I'm just gonna throw trash cans and boxes at you. And I'll keep retracting my claws so I can keep on showing them to you lol.
That's because the show was so censored that Spidey wasn't even allowed to throw a punch while on air. Grappling, and the occasional kick was about the extent that they were allowed.
Is it just me or was Wolverine TERRIBLY written? How many times does it go: Slight mis-communication/case of mistaken identity leads to Wolverine thinking good guy is bad guy. Wolverine kicks the shit out of said good guy while failing to listen to reason/logic/anything. Confusion is eventually cleared up, Wolverine says something like "Well I guess you're ok after all bub, but I'm still keepin' an eye on ya". The end.
The Animated shows never usually never potray the characters in the same way as the comics, Wolverine hugely ask or takes more info on his quests rather than using force first. Unless its needed ofc, just like other anti-heroes in comics in general, besides Wolverine is a friend of Sipderman as well. He did ask him first.
This was so awesome when I was a kid, seeing my two favourite superheroes fight each other. Looking back I wish Spidey would've punched wolverine. Damn you censorship!!! Still a good moment though.
Protoshag46 I actually liked the no punching rule. It forced them to be clever with how spidey's battles played out and actually have him use his intelligence instead of his muscles.
1. Why is Wolverine trying to wrestle with Spider-Man? Pop them claws son!! 2. Why is spider man struggling to throw wolverine off him. Dude can life a car. He should be able to sway Wolverine away easy as hell
I’m 31 years old, I remember watching these episodes first air when I was a kid. I got so hype when Wolverine showed up, then I had to wait a week for the conclusion.

Yeah mark hamill did great playing him on spiderman
Why is Wolvie such a moron here?
A hero who can't punch VS a hero who can't cut anything with his claws. Let's see how this goes.
Just Some Guy with a Mustache
they just head-butt each other till one dies.
Just Some Guy with a Mustache two times in one day, what's up
well you could SLAM, you could kick ect. Wolverine I believe cut like 1 guy the entire season
Yeeah.. but then Spidey would be knocked ut after a couple of hits due to the impact of Wolverine's adamantium laced skull or realistically, get his own skull severely fractured

That was the unfortunate thing about these two series. Seriously he can't even punch?! That's stupid because I'm cartoons like Batman and even X-Men they threw punches.
The way Hobgoblin says "Ah ha, the very thing I need" sounds very Joker like.
It’s because Mark Hamill voices Hobogoblin in Spider-Man addition to The Joker on Batman: The Animated Series.
@Bondfan1995 I thought it sounded like mark hamills joker! He does a good villain voice
It's too bad Mark Hamil is super cringe now
Mark Hamill is a hack who can't do any other voice. Plus, he's a huge soyboy.
He sounded like Joker the entire time.
Wolverine has more of an anger problem then hulk.
lol subbed

Because Banner always tries to keep his anger at bay. Wolverine just doesn't give a damn.

I miss this show
With the return of X-Men 97, Spider-Man the animated series may also make a comeback.
