I never realized just how much of this show I missed as a kid. It was hard for me to even get to watch this, since it came on during times when I was still waiting for my mom at afterschool or I was dragged to my brother's baseball games. I need to give the whole thing a watch when I can.

She regretted it all her life. In the next frame, she remembered leaving him. He said he forgave her, and Mystique turned away in tears, saying she didn't deserve him. Then she covers him from a bullet. At the end of the episode she survived and looking at her son and Rouge tearfully walked away.
