Mine too
Same...
my friend had this keyboard, I remembered this melody the other day and couldn't get rid of it. and now I spent over 2 hours trying to find the exact model. FINALLY.
Oh my god. The demo song was my childhood
The song is "500 Miles" or "Railroaders Lament"
It is a traditional American folk song. And was made famous in 1961 by the famous folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary.
And again in 1963 by country singer Bobby Bare, with his version "500 Miles Away From Home"

This way my very first keyboard ever, I was 5 years old or so. Remember every button and sound until today, while being a happy owner of DSI, Moog, Access, Clavia, ARP, Waldorf and other synths...
Hi, nice to hear that. I was 7 years old when I become this keyboard. After many others, I am owner of Korg TR, Yamaha Tyros and a music composer for movie soundtracks.
I just found my old GPM MC-3PK wich is very similar to this one. It has the same demo song. I did not hear it for almost 25 years but it feels like yesterday.
Nice memories....
Now I am playing with it with my son 😊

My older brother got one of these in 1990 for Christmas (although I think it was branded as the Fujitone IIIB). When he went away on school camps, my younger brother and I would go into his room and mess around with it. I also later used it when I was taking lessons. Of course, being in the hands of kids, it eventually came apart - the yellow percussion buttons broke and the power jack came loose, among other things. I still have fond memories of the demo song and hooking it up to a tape recorder to record "songs" I made on it.
my first keyboard !!!!!!!!!! thanks man ! 1993

This was my very first electric piano that I had as a child, I have very good memories of it because I learned to play the piano because of it. This demo song that plays in the video is firmly etched in my memory because I played it the most
I miss him so much 😂
OMG I´m 14 and i´ve had this keyboard from my family for 9 years. Well, not this one but very similar. Now I know that it´s older than me :D Around 30 years old. That demo, it´s my childhood. I´ll remember it to my death :D After 4-5 years I played on it again and I still can play that song!
Do you know the demo's name?

Man, I stille have my keyboard that plays this song. It must be from the late 80's or early 90's. I had no idea this was a real song until I saw Inside Llewyn Davis.

Same :) My dad brought it from Germany in 1996, i still use it :D
omgg the same for me I am turkish and my uncle went to germany and he brought it .it still work .
that automated accompaniment in your video played only major chords. did you know, that when you hit any bass key and closest black key on the left, it plays minor chord? like pressing G and F# makes Gminor accompaniment, C and A# gives you C minor, A# and G# - A# minor etc.
Someone have a pic of this keyboard inside? I have one but some cables aren´t welded
Do you know how much these are worth? I bought one for $10 today at a thrift store
I have the same model, but it says HBATEC instead of FIRST :S
Had one of those, and I'm still trying to remember what's the name of this demo song? "River"... something... Can someone help?

@@duckduckgoismuchbetter I used to try to find this song when i was a child. It was hard to find songs back then. Thank you for information. You brought my memories back. Btw i saw your comment by chance by searching for my old comments lol.
@@RegularShow39 I'm glad to be of help. That must have been frustrating, especially to a child, trying to find a mysterious song, just from the melody, and not having any idea how to go about it.
I've been looking for a couple of songs I haven't heard since my teenage years in the early 80s. I know they're out there. On CZcams somewhere. In fact, quite by accident, in what must have been the very first year of CZcams, I found one of them. This was years before CZcams accounts, and I thought I saved it somehow. But I lost it again. And now I remember less about it than I did then. The other song...is just as mysterious. I'll run across them eventually.
Another song which is played as a demonstration melody on keyboards, is Billy Joels 1977 song, "Just The Way You Are". I'm telling you this, just in case this is another one you or someone else eventually reading here, might be trying to find it as well. It's a beautiful song.
@@RegularShow39 You got me to thinking about lost songs.
There were two instrumental songs I kept hearing for decades, since I was a kid. And only was clued into one of them by a 60s era friend who was really into music. And that one immediately led me to the other one, which I hadn't associated with each other before.
The DJs were at fault. Because they assumed everyone was psychic and could read their minds. Hence, they never announced the names of the songs or anything. And my clairvoyance was always on the blink when they played them, lol. So I spent decades not having ANYTHING to go on to find these songs. Which I never associated with each other anyway.
I eventually managed to record a few rough seconds of scratchy audio off the radio one night. And emailed it to my online friend. Whom I've never actually met irl. He identified the one from just a few notes over a lot of background noise.
It was Santana "Europa (Earth's Cry, Heavens Smile)".
And the other one I found from that was his instrumental "Samba Pa Ti"
I don't know what your taste in music is, but these are sublime to me. And impossible to know what they are, unless you already know what they are. Or somebody tells you.
Another one a lot of people have heard is the Theme from the movie "A Summer Place". I think it has its own song title, but I think it's always just called "Theme From 'A Summer Place'". By Percy Faith and his orchestra.
I've heard it in the background of...idk malls, grocery stores, other movies or TV shows, who knows where. But it's an instrumental. And how can you describe an instrumental song to someone??
These are all timeless, and were (at the time) EXTREMELY famous instrumental songs. Well worth a listen. If you think you might like that kind of thing. Hope this helps you, and/or someone else find their unfindable songs.
