my mum was evacuated here in ww11 and lived in Haworth until the war ended ,its nice to see where she lived in those times ,Number 10 main street was her address and it is now a lovely tea shop.
Wendy Darling best tea shop in haworth!
I love it. My parents were born in the 30s, however all of my Uncles served in World War two, several were stationed in England and participated in D Day. As an American today, I wish I could attend this festival. With war time rationing, I don't think many of the delicious treats presented would have been available back then.
It was wonderful we arrived in Haworth as part of of holiday to the uk and all this was going on just fantastic.
We humans love our nostalgia!
I just happened upon this video on accident. It was fascinating and enjoyable to watch.
The two little dogs sitting on the Union flag at the end were just too adorable!!🙂
16 minutes in. Hold on I'll just get a cuppa. Right now, where was I. What an amazing show, have to do this one real soon. Thanks for posting.

OMG i want to dress like that...very 40 classy and timeless
Do it then 👍
Is it just me or does the train station looks like what Platform 9 and 3/4 looks like in the 1940s?
Why wear fur stola's in that warm weather? Haha :)

It's Haworth in June. Only CATS are wearing fur.
Excellent idea. Just get the train from Keighley. Parkin' is easier.
Ok that looks like fun although a strictly Caucasian event. They can freely look back at that time with fondness.
Choclatcotton how do you know if the strictly Caucasian event?
Ahh.. the mass 1940s 'fun' events. 2%accuracy, 98% increasingly bizarre surrealist fantasy. How can a people be so worryingly divorced from any cultural or social knowledge of their own recent history? The ignorance is staggering.
Ahh..the self styled know it all.Sometimes people like doing what they like and arnt pretending to be in a documentary.
Get over yourself.
Why trying to recreate the 30s or 40s?two of the most hateful destructive decades of mankind
james rippingale why are you apart of the KKK?
Eric Brown-Bey .????
Those that forget their past are doomed to repeat it. It's still a free country. Just.
