The power of many angels are in the voice of this phenomenal artist.
Quelle voix somptueuse, du velours, de la puissance et des pianissimi sublimes. Elle n'est pas assez connue et est pourtant des meilleures Aida.
Outstanding!
A tremendous performance in the grand manner-and the authentic manner, too. Fabulous messa-di-voce and a masterful high arch to the soft high C, as written. Supreme.
It’s written DOLCE.
Why on earth have so many gotten this wrong !!????
Dolce = Sweet, gentle, mild, smooth…

Superb - the pianissimo at the beginning of "O patria" is the key to her splendid singing
Voce d'oro di un tempo ormai passato....
To die for
This is absolutely Brilliant!!! Thank you so much for posting it.
Wonderful singer, Superb soft initial high C followed by a slight crescendo which not many can manage. Besides that this is not to ignore the entire aria itself which is beautifully done as well.
Not many better performances exist. TY Scalatti for posting
The high C is marked dolce in the score which is more about quality of tone, not about dynamics.
Dolce = Sweet.
Yes, really, really outstanding! Many thanks to Scalatti for posting, to AE for sending to Nate, who in turn has forwarded this way. Thanks to all!
Awesome! TY
Voor mij Perfect ! jammer dat ze van de mic moest wegdraaien bij de hoge c.
Maar dat moest in die tijd anders word tschril.
