I'm a big fan of the "garage rock" outtake with the fuzztone guitar, choppy rhythm guitar and backing vocals. I felt it was more "rock and roll" and less "Motown". It's amazing what Paul, Big George M and Emerick did taking just the bass and drums from the outtake and turning it into the version we know and love. You nailed Ringo's clearly Motown influenced groove here! Great work, my friend! I see you have a new tambourine, too!
@@JacobKMusics thanks Jacob! Got the tambourine a few months ago, but haven’t really used it all that much except for my “I’m The Greatest” video. Much better than my old one.
Awesome drum and percussion cover, also, when are you going to do Yellow Submarine yet, it’s one of The Beatles number one hit songs on Revolver, and it was released as a single backed with Eleanor Ridgby in August 5, 1966, the same day the Revolver album came out.
This and your previous video Rain...the bass drum is my idea of the perfect controlled punchy yet full 60's sound. Are those Ambassadors on both batter and reso side?
@@hamueramusic when I listened to the isolated drum track on CZcams as well as the one I had from Moises.ai, I thought I heard a bass drum on beat three. There is something there that’s not a snare drum. So I’m only playing what I heard.
Sorry if you think the original song is up too high in the mix but I personally believe it is a happy medium. You can hear the drums and how they blend in with the backing track. For future videos though I will make sure I have the song a little lower.
@@n.f.7342 a lot of Beatle outros have Ringo playing some fantastic fills but are unheard when they fade out. Wish they were brought up more in the mix.
Ignore the two hi hat hits at 1:09. I forgot to remove them from the audio. I know they are not in the actual song.
Boa David !!!!!!!
Great job once again David! I always look forward to your videos!

Glad to see more Revolver stuff!
@@magraretsbane6274 some great drumming on Revolver! “She Said She Said”, “Tomorrow Never Knows”, “I Want To Tell You”, they’re all great!
@@davidmontis7259 Not to mention the sludgy heaviness of I’m Only Sleeping and the explosive work on Taxman, really great stuff
Amazing job!

Great song! One of the best on the album!

one small thing: in the first half of the verses Ringo doesn't play the kick on beat the, only 1 and the and of 4

Can you mix down significantly the original song please?
Omg yeah!

never got why they mixed down the drum fill
