I learned quite a bit from this. I now know why my almond milk kept freezing. That alone will save me. 😂 You two are killing it on these tip videos. Thank you! so much for all you are doing and congrats on hitting 4k!!!!! ❤️👍👏 Donovan & Jodi
So glad it the videos have been helpful! That makes our day! Its great knowing our mistakes/ knowledge can helps others!👍😆😂
I saw a comment on another channel regarding the smoke alarm tip and they suggested using a shower cap to cover the alarm, hang cap on a Command Strip hook nearby. Sounds quicker/easier than messing with the batteries...
Hey that's a great idea Lora! Thank you! We will more than likely look into something like that, thanks for watching!
Oops...we lost a shelf once, but ours had a jar of pickles in it that shattered. It wasn't too bad to clean up, but the smell lasted for days, despite our cleaning efforts! Glad you didn't have anything break. Thanks for the tips.
Yeah so glad there were no pickles on that shelf. I hate pickles but Melissa loves them. I think ill probably just repair it for the time being. Thanks for watching!
Before we bought our fifth wheel that was one requirement we had, to be able to get to the fridge with the slide in! And we found one.
It's definitely a good option!
So glad I discovered your video! Wonderful tips..hello smoker, wow! Headed to Depoe Bay OR for our trailer's maiden voyage this week..looking forward to more of your future vids! Thank you for taking the time to help others with all your great info!
Awesome so glad you found it helpful! We appreciate you watching. 👍
LOL hit the nail on the head about the smoke alarm. Don
Hahah yeah it took a while to catch on, now it's a routine! Thanks for watching!
From the first also happy. like( dari dulu juga happy)
Really appreciate the video
Glad you found it helpful Julie!
I used to put a shower cap over my smoke alarm until I was done cooking, but I also read where someone uses a bowl cover, just dont forget to remove them later,
Those are both great ideas! Thank you, we will be looking into that! Thank you for watching!
That's a great idea! Never thought of that before. haha.
THANK YOU for that tip! Just toasting bread set off my alarm!
You were killing me with the refrigerator door open for so long. 😂
Also, I need to do the keto diet. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Haha sorry! The keto diet has been great for us. We are still doing it almost 5 years later.
I have a counter top ice maker in my travel trailer. We love it.
I need the freezer space for my teenage son.
That must be nice! There are so many cool setups
Hi Guys! Thank you for the video, Bad "Melissa" braking the shelf like that hahahaha!! Just kidding guys! Really enjoy your guys video's. They make me wish I cold do the same but do to health reasons I can't. ;-( I'm a retired Truck Driver equipment operator and construction inspector ... Lot's of hats hahahaha!! Jason coffee is the blood of our people hahahahaha!! Just like the highway hum from the freeway is the song of our people !! ;-)
Thanks for watching David. That shelf has had a crack for a while, just happened to break on her, and on camera! Really glad you enjoy the videos.
Jesse, my husband smokes cheese on our smoker, place a block of cheese in a foil tub and stick in the smoker, once it starts to melt pull off and stick in the fridge for 10 minutes or so, pull it out and repeat the process depending on how much smoke you want on your cheese.
Wow that definitely sounds delicious! We will have to try that, thanks Karin!
We are using a camper for Alaska trip so need this video for ideas. We plan hit Costco and target before it starts so def love see meals
What do you coll at home? It's basically the same....sorry we can't help much more a RV is a house.
Great video add a small dc refrigerator/freezer in the back.
Alan that is a great idea, we have been looking at the dometic chest fridge/freezers! Our solar system would handle it no problem. Thanks for watching!
A netted bag for your drinks if your by a lake river or stream they are normally cold . Like your hat Go Soxs
Oh thats a great idea for the drinks Stephen! We love camping by water, huge Boston fans here! So excited for hockey, GO B's! Thanks for watching!
Reminds me of my first wife. She used the smoke alarm as a timer.
Hahah thats too funny! It's definitely sensitive which is safe, but we might try a shower cap? That was recommended to us by a few viewers. Thanks for watching.
We only store a few drinks in our refrigerator at a time, to save on space. It only takes a few hours to cool them so we can store them elsewhere and save on refrigerator space for those items that need to be cold all the time.
Yeah thats kind of what we did as as well. We actually just got a iceco that we plan on keeping in our truck.
czcams.com/video/fd8fVBO71LU/video.html
Nice work
Thanks, we appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
RV Camping Cookoff! I'm bringing my Cameron's smoker. That's right Adam Levine, I'm challenging you!! 😂😂😂
Hahaah thats too good! That sounds awesome!
Once my fridge door with the condiments fell off!
Oh no that's horrible!
Great tips, thank you! Hubby and I are Keto as well! :)
Thanks for watching Judy! You are welcome, keto is the best, how long have you been doing it?
@@AdventureEndeavor Since January, as of Sunday we are now both down 50 LB each and feel so much healthier! Keto is the way to go and so easy to stick too!
Thats amazing, congratulations!
@@AdventureEndeavor Thank you! :)
How do you get magnets to stick to your fridge? Ours is basically silver-painted wood. Is yours actually metal?
Yeah I think we got lucky, ours is a very thin piece of sheet metal! Overall they stick just fine! Thanks for watching Misty!
Mmmmm, food, glorious food episode. Yep, it is great being able to access the fridge and lav on the road in our Class A. Well, it’s great for Sarah. She never drives. 😂 Oh yeah, have you done any sort of outdoor cooking/smoking in bear country? How hard is it to unload, set up, and repack the Davey Crockett?
Hey Jack! So we did smoke meats and cook outside in bear county. We just cleaned up very well and put the smoker in the toy box. The GMG is pretty easy to setup imo its slightly heavy and awkward solo but possibly to do. Thanks for watching!
Great video, thanks for sharing! We've been keto since Thanksgiving and have lost 50# so far. One thing we haven't found yet is a good keto pizza crust. Just wondering what you use, or if you have a video about yours?
Hey bob! Thanks for watching, we make our own kedough! It's pretty simple though this link has everything you need to know.
www.rootlessliving.com/kedough-pizza/
Adventure Endeavor Thanks for the recipe link! We enjoyed pizza cooked on our (covered) Blackstone griddle and it turned out great.😋
Thats awesome so glad it worked out for you! We love making pizza!
question don't most motor homes have a fan to keep smoke & air circulating?
Yes almost all of them do, 50% actually vent outside. Most of the time the fans are too small as well, they just can't keep up and a trailer is a small space.
We are taking our little family on the road full time while I do medical school rotations. Any good ideas on keto recipes y’all have found are good RV? We have our staples but any new recipes we will always take.
We we recently got a GMG pellet smoker and it's been awesome for meat and pizza! Everything tastes amazing. Hopefully this helps, but really you can make anything on the road. We also like how carb tortillas in general.
czcams.com/video/vu0q6cbif0I/video.html
Totally watched the pellet smoker video! It’s on our short list of things to buy.
If you use your ceiling fan and open a window you don't have to worry about your smoke alarm going off!
We do! Unfortunately the way the trailer is set up it doesn't solve the issue. Thanks for the tip though!
Where did you get the USA magnet on your fridge?
We got it on Amazon! It's so much fun, we get asked about it often.

I’d love to see what else you cook since you seem to eat healthy. How do you use your smoker? I don’t own one, but now thinking about it. I like the fact you eat healthy bc I’ve searched other CZcams videos and open a can of chilly and put of
a lot of cheese or they make nachos for dinner. That’s not ideal for me. How do you plan 5-7 days of cooking? I like to watch you guys cook.
We typically eat low carb. So meet and vegetables, we typically will smoke some sort of meat on the smoker and then potentially do a casserole or smoked veggies as well.
@@AdventureEndeavor I’d still would love to see a new playlist on your channel for RV cooking bc I can’t find other videos that are healthy RV cooking. I believe this could be a niche on CZcams since you are already doing both- RV camping and cooking.
Does anyone else recommend a healthy RV / camping cooking CZcams channel? bc I can’t find any.
Our good friends Irene Iron fitness has a cooking channel.
Never enough Heavy Cream
Yup 100%! We have been doing keto for 2 years, we love our heavy cream! Thanks for watching Alli.
I'm moving in into an RV. First time experience. I will be a full time RV. Hopefully i understand RV living
It will be fun! It's a little different but also very similar. Goodluck.
@@AdventureEndeavor Thank you! Let's hope for the best.
Just take it one day at a time
I love that your fridge and pantry content look very much like ours! We also haven’t made much change in the way we eat from when we lived in our S&B. I’m super intrigued by the propane wok type skillet (forgot the name!) you guys have. That might be a good replacement for the small portable grill we currently have (I hate cleaning it!). Our personal favorite appliances that we use are the Ninja Foodi with air fryer and a sous vide. Thanks for sharing your kitchen and cooking tips! We hope to meet up with you guys sometime because we totally want some keto pizza made in that smoker!
Hey guys thanks for watching! The wok, is called a Skottle we linked in in the description! This community is small but great im sure we will run into each other! We love cooking for/with everyone!
Love your channel. I hate most rv’ers they have lost the value of money because they have so much.
Thanks Jeffery, we don't have much hahaha thanks for watching.
If there isnt solar in an rv how does using outlets/ charging laptops/phones work?
In an RV there are 2 systems 12volt(batteries) or 110v generator, shore power or an inverter. Most RVs come with a few 12v plugs to charge small electronics ect. You can buy a generator, when running all your outlets will work. We installed solar to charge our batteries, and an inverter to make the power from 12v to 110. So it's wired in and all outlets outlets work. Hopefully this helps.
@@AdventureEndeavor thanks so much for the info!
You are welcome, hopefully it made sense!
Glad to see you are eating Healthy Keto!
We love it 2 years strong, no signs of stopping. We feel amazing and have so much energy! Thanks for watching!
Now I know why Jason and Rae keep hanging with you two. Lol
Hahaha hopefully that wasn't the ONLY reason! We like to eat!
@@AdventureEndeavor That was quick.
Should have bought a Montana.
Maybe..we really like the toyhauler though. We have separate rooms and high water capacity. It's working well for us🤷♂️
@@AdventureEndeavor Ya, I guess you can't beat the toy hauler, those extra large tanks make the difference. Good luck and have fun.
Thanks for watching Earl.
Not a cooking episode? Title says rv cooking?!?!?
Just tips cooking/organization/storage of food and what not. Sorry if it was a little confusing.

?
@@AdventureEndeavor I appreciated the smoke alarm tip. lol. God Bless you Both In Jesus Name.
Glad you found it helpful
How do u cook in an rv without killing yourself?
Same way as you do with your house...Its basically the same as a house.
@@AdventureEndeavor open doors and windows while hoping that no one dies that day?
Why would someone die?
@@AdventureEndeavor smoke inhalation!
It's not an issue, smoke alarm might go off on occasion. That's it, super safe.
