So on Friday we had a dire drill at my school. the spectralerts weren't coding right they were doing the first 2 pulses and then a long pulse and it kept going like that at my school the panel is brand new a silent knight ifp 2000ecs and the maintenance person called the alarm company and hopefully they fixed it and could you tell me why
Not really. It definitely will not fry the NAC. From my experience, it just makes the horns sound scratchy. I’ve never had one Simplex device fail because I had it powered on FWR.

Some simplex devices dont work on fire lite panels, either it will fry the nac or the alarm itself
