    Hello developers, I hope you read this. Listen to your community and improve the previous game again. Dark Nebula is a very bad game.     I downloaded the game on the 30th of December 2019 but the only thing i don't understand is why did they remove global chat which was one of the best things in the game because if u needed help or had a question so many people were free to help you.
    now it feels alone and idc how much credit your going to give me i just want chat to be back

      There are no shenanigans to be had anymore, the cry baby devs didn’t like how people played so he trashed the game and alienated the vets to make the game a child’s playpen.

      @@lufthansa002 I'm getting first impressions of this version, but the OG was significantly slower and strategic. Decisions had consequences, upgrades were very expensive and progression was limited by amount of credits/hydrogen more than by the timers as they are now. The low speed of ships allowed for more complex micromanagement, calculative and tactical combat. While the ships moved slowly, having enough of them made it difficult to keep your whole fleet moving effectively - similar to how in Age of Empires you have satisfaction of managing your army as well as economy at the same time, but HS took a with a unique twist on it that no other game ever tried before. It filled the niche which attracted many players over the years despite lack of updates and content many devoted years to the game, me included.
      First impressions of current version:
      I do not like the new UI. It tries to look cool, but the frames around the HD stations make them look worse than when it had simplistic one color symbols for each structure. Over time you realized what the symbol represents and use imagination to fill in the blanks. Their scale compared to planets is weird. The ships also have and always had weird scale, but they're your units not structures, I could imagine they are enlarged icons of the significantly smaller sized ships for gameplay purposes and so could be the station symbols be, but not the visualized stations from Dark Nebula update. I don't think it's one of the things that would just grow on me over time, it's very clearly out of place.
      Research station can hold 8 artifacts and research can do 2 researches at once so big improvement, but the cost of them dropped significantly while the time to research goes very quickly to 1h, 4h, 1d and they're upgrades worth 1000-3000 credits.. That's pocket change compared to ship upgrades, station upgrades or planet upgrades that I have at 300 000-600 000 credit pricetags... Previously it took around 4 lvls to start getting into expensive upgrades worth 50-100k credits on any module and most of them were useless until lvl 6-7 so this is significant upgrade and many modules seem more balanced and designed to be used more frequently.
      Shields seem extremely unbalanced, omega shield has 4 min cooldown, you could have 4 passive shields in that time. I spectated some RS5-6 and literally everyone uses just passive shields... There used to be quite rich meta where players could use passive, omega, area or mirror, but now it seems the only worth using by far is passive. Shields used to be the main HP of ships, Omega shield used to have 8000 HP and cost 600 hydro with 5min cooldown and Passive matched that HP at lvl 4 with I believe around 2m25s recharge timer assuming you didn't recieve any damage. It was viable due to Time Warp lowering that timer significantly and also it was significantly cheaper than spending 600 hydrogen every time a shield was needed.
      Economy was centered around hydrogen and level/amount of your miners. Everything cost hydrogen. Almost all module activations or passive effects drained hydrogen, moving ships anywhere and activating shields used to cost significant amounts of hydrogen especially if you overleveled the module it could cost ridiculous amounts. You could mine enough hydrogen in red stars to not even go into negative after returning with the artifacts, allowing you to salvage them for credits and hydrogen allowing for infinite red stars if you optimized your consumption to bare minimum. We used to call it salvage runs and it was the most effective way of earning credits up until croids were added to the game or until you reached some huge credit cap and upgraded all planets and trade stations and warp lanes. Shipments used to be complete meme in comparison, trade modules as well since most of them took years to pay off in their upgrade costs, hydrogen costs aside. They also simply weren't as worthwhile as simply hopping into RS4, grabbing 16 000 credits worth of artifacts and bailing for another one, possibly done within 10 mins or less.
      Now salvage runs have been completely murdered. Artifacts return very miniscule amounts of credits, NO hydrogen and hydrogen fields in RS themselves are complete joke too. RS4 used to have every sector with 400 hydro and a few with 600. Now I see there is total of 1200 hydrogen in the entirety of RS6... Not only that, teleport module which used to make transporters economically viable in lower RS lvls, cannot be equipped by transporters anymore. Miners mine significantly slower in RS and remote mining is now ability that lasts just long enough to be up the entire Red Star, but you have to click the button on it every time you start RS. I guess it's better than having to wait for the old mining boost that had 10 mins of effect and 10 mins of cooldown forcing you to wait some 8 mins for another RS run, but then again there was time modulator to pass the idle time faster. The more I talk about the OG HS the more I miss how well thoughout it was.
      It's not worth it anymore to risk your ships in RS unless you want research, instead you're encouraged to play a lame version of Euro Truck Simulator in your home star system and abuse poor BLS matchmaking (twice it threw my lvl60 account against lvl20s, little guys stood no chance). Also speaking of BLS, you get 40 000 credits for winning and can't lose your ship or hydrogen... meanwhile you get some 3000 creds from RS4 salvage run... why devman? Salvage runs used to be the best thing in the game for me. They were thrilling and dangerous. Even 1 transporter that got destroyed by a super nova or stray interceptor meant you lost equivalent of a multiple salvage runs of profits and if you kept losing ships this most efficient method of making credits wouldn't be economically viable, but now this way of playing has been completely discouraged. Mining in RS was also pretty entertaining as there was so much hydrogen around and the mining speed was just perfectly balanced enough to barely fill up 600/600 hydrogen on all 4 miners if you played highly optimally and got slightly lucky. Now you bring miner into RS just to enrich the artifacts with % on research... that's it. There are some offensive miner modules, but most players won't even reach that far into the game with me included, because what became of Hades Star is a highly unoptimized, unbalanced mish-mash. The idea behind addition/replacement modules, research and cerb forces update were brilliant, but there was no need to remove or change so many other things that made the OG game so very special.
      It's as if someone had a great idea for Hades Star 2, got overwhelmed with all the interactions and calculations, burnt out and dumped the result onto Hades Star 1. I don't get how is this version supposed to make more money than the last. It has the same bad micro transation deals that aren't worth the money, it makes spending the money not feel enjoyable as you're using it to skip over annoying timers. Rather than getting something positive you pay to skip the negative and most players that got far enough to consider paying money for the extremely lengthy timers are the breed of players that's okay with them. Some mobile games have even 14d timers and anyone who reached that point is okay with waiting for it to finish just like they were okay with the previous 10d timer. I looked through the micro transation offers and even if I liked the gameplay of this version, I'd not pay money for them. Why not sell cool skins for ships or the visualized stations could be locked behind the premium currency which f2p COULD gather without paying, but paying would get you the rewards faster. Something of this sort would make the developer/s significantly more money than the model they use now. I just get a bitter feeling all this could have been handled much better and everyone could have been happy, instead it seems nobody is. Fan base forsake the game and the developer is maybe not even net positive on the time and money investment on this Dark Nebula project.

      @@Laireso Thanks for that information, all that information is pretty substantial and I saw some things that I hadn't taken into account, but since the first comment you answered, I installed the game again and I could recovering any memories of what the game was like before and how it is now, and although it's not a boring game, actually i definitely wouldn't spend 6 months straight playing it like I did in his time, because as you said, not only the economy of the missions not even as profitable and exciting like before, but all the previous necessary strategy has disappeared, and it now is more an arcade game than a strategy game, now it is fun anyways, but it's no the game that made me play it for months 3 years ago

      @@lufthansa002 I'm really sad this happened, I had the perfect salvage farm setup in the starter sector with 2 planets, I didn't have to move battleships at all for near instant full repairs as I sent miners with Sanctuary into sentinel at the edge repeatedly which meant ships were "dying" in the sector healing my battleships via Salvage support module. They also had Sanctuary so I could leave them in RS anywhere and they'd return anyway, that saved a lot of hydrogen considering I was using passive shield which drains more hydro on movement, but doesn't have activation cost and is always on, ideal to preserve hydrogen if I can get new shield by just waiting a minute or two or tanking with one of the battleships that had full shield and let the other recharge while still fighting.
      There was so much variety and bad decisions, poorly timed upgrades had potential to have severe consequences. Now as you say it's basically full arcade. I like maybe 50% of the changes, but the other 50% being so botched it ruined the update for me and the game. It really should have been released as a separate game.

    I love the game guys! It's amazing however I do have a lot of recommendations to make the game better also heres a key (when I say weapon or primary weapon I mean the red slot, aux weapon green and superweapon slot maybe should be a black, outlined red slot), so here they are:
    1 more weapons, a railgun (high damage, long reload, better in large numbers), a rapid fire plasma gatling turret, a pulse laser and a new type of weapon for a unique weapon slot (Super weapon) Heavy plasma bolt (not lightning now but like a large plasma pulse) that does more damage when more of it is equipped, also pls add the Dart barrage, also non weapon, but maybe add mining drones that can mine and dock with the mother ship once loaded with hydrogen or the new mineral mentioned to add to the motherships cargo hold, if this module is upgraded more drones will be added (lvl 1 drones will have basic mining abilities and a hull of 100 as well as 100 mineral storage, fully upgraded will have a point defence gatling cannon turret and can mine 5 times faster than lvl 1 drones, a hull of 1.5k and 5 drones a module as well as 2k mineral storage)
    2 more ship types: A destroyer (layout: has the build in "conquer module" (will explain later) 1 weapons slot and a shield slot (lvl 1 will only start with the conquer module) basically a destroyer is a light offensive unit that can be used to conquer cerberus strucutres/worlds,
    2 Cruisers: contains 2 super weapon slots and 1 weapon slot and a shield slot when fully upgraded (lvl 1 will begin with 1 super weapon and shield), cruisers can be researched in orange stars (will explain later),
    3 A carrier (7 drone slots and 1 gatling turret when fully upgraded while lvl 1 carriers have 1 weps slot and 1 drone slot), carriers would be highyl beneficial as heavy support ships, as well as having 1 weapon slot making it likely fend for itself, however if the drones are destroyed it could be left vulnerable, best to use on large warships that already are hooked onto a target. fully upgraded has 15k hull while lvl 1 has 2k hull
    4 a bomber frigate (when fully upgraded it will have 5 dart barrages and 1 shield slot and 1 aux wep slot (green), lvl 1 will have 1 dart barrage) Bomber frigates should be cheap and easy ships to get, they are best used when together and in a fleet, the dart barrages when used should give the enemy hell, best used on stations and targets already firing at another ship. lvl 1 should have a hull of 250 and fully upgraded a hull of 5k.
    3 new stars with some nice game play, ok so maybe once you finished colonize your system, you can build the "Yellow star scanner" and then you are lead to a yellow star thats colonized fully by the cerberus and you must fight and claim the system (look, we are an empire after all and most empires in history have done either one of the 3 C's (Colonize, Control and Conquer) so maybe we can do that here and instead of destroying cerberus colonized worlds the destroyers "conquer module" could conquer them making the world in our rule, and we start off in 1sector and have to scan our way through, like our first system, also with the "conquer module" you can conquer cerberus stations and they can produce the same amount of ships as their level (like if it's lvl 1 it will only produce 1 ship for u), this will require a lot of strategy and time, which would add a lot for game play, (also pls note the yellow star scanner will be a permanent jump gate between ur main system and the new system also cerberus conquered planets/ stations should give off income
    Orange stars: or optionally once ur system is fully colonized u can construct an Orange star scanner, Orange stars will contain ruined worlds which were destroyed by the cerberus and unique ruins and artifacts (not weapon artifacts, may sound similar to red stars but lemme finish) basically, these artifacts allow you to research new technologies, I.e the cruiser and the superweapon slot (and the plasma bolt), Citadels (fully upgraded has 1 super weapon slot and 5 primary weapon slots and 2 aux wep slots (green) lvl 1 citadels have 2 primary weapon slots)and 2 and space hab technologies as well as the Dyson sphere (space Habs can be constructed in empty sectors and can be upgraded).
    Also you can colonized the ruined worlds to get them back up and running as well as additionally get artifacts to research technologies.
    4 cerberus attacks: It'd be better for fun to make the cerberus randomly attack your system when you first jump into another yellow star system, but don't bring the cerberus destroyer because players might get mad if their worlds are destroyed, also maybe a new cerberus ship should be added: The cerberus Neutrino (or cerberus jumper, whichever ones you guys like), (loadout 1 cerberus railgun (which reloads quickly and a fully upgraded teleport module, and a hull of 5k) basically what this vessel does, is that it teleports to random locations near your ship, fires its railgun, then teleports again, your best best beating it is through EMP, Then I think the cerberus chould have a carrier in their yellow star systems, which launch a squadron of 8 chainray drones that all attach their chainray together to make one powerful chainray and the best ray to beat them is through mass battery, each drone whould have 1k health and an impulse shield, the carrier itself should have 2 pulse laser cannons with health of 82k. also I think there should be a cerberus bomber sized ship known as the cerberus "bombardier" it uses the pulse bomb (idk its true name but the last red weap on the red weps menu), the vengeance and the bomb dropper (again, idk its actual name, but it was a stationary bomb) and also to top it off 1 gatling cannon turret and a hull of 32k. Lastly for ships, the cerberus should have a massive dreadnought, which supports 4 batteries and 1 barrage weapon, and has a hull of 272k, players will need EMP, and lasers to defeat this, as well as weapon amp and likely a lot of battleships, destroyers, bombers and carriers (however a squad of cruisers could cook it as I think the plasma bolt should deal 20k when solo and 40k each when theres 2 but takes 15 seconds to reload)but on death the cerberus dreadnought should give you some hadesium (as it would be a pain to beat) some, the cerberus dreadnought should be quick for its size but slow in general, also just for the cherry on the top, it should have a hangar bay that launches 2 new sentinal mk2's which have barrage weapons and an alpha shield, also 1 interceptor mk 2 which should have an upgraded mass battery and an ally shield. The cerberus should also have citadels and habs, which are conquerable with destroyers (only structures and planets should be conquerable with the conquer module), cerberus citadels defend habs and are stationary with habs, cerberus citadels should have: 2 dart barrages, 1 bomber missile, 2 railguns, 1 barrage turret, 1 dual laser and 2 gatling cannons and a pulse laser cannon and a hull of 150k, Cerberus planets should also have a unique defence of Cerberus Boxer missiles which deal 10k damage upon impact, have 5k hull and also a reload time of 15 seconds and a long range (1.5 times the range of an omega missile)
    And lastly a new mineral: Hadesium, Hadesium can be used to upgrade worlds instead of credits sometimes, it can be found in the outskirts of the new yellow star system and should be really rare (like 1 or 2 roids per 2 sectors in the outskirts and should regen in 4 days)
    Premium packages (please note these all mentioned below should be optional to pay like for example the crystal packages you can earn in the game but can also buy): look I don't want these new features to be premium, so here's what you do: Make hadesium packages (in large now) like 15 Hadesium ore is $2 30 hadesium ore is $4, 60 Hadesium ores $8 and 120 hadesium ore is 16 dollars and 240 is 32 dollars,
    Artifact packages for red stars, these 1 of each artifact type maybe lvl 2 should be 0.5 dollars, while lvl 3 is $1, lvl 4 should be 3 dollars, lvl 5 should be 3.5 dollars, lvl 6 4 dollars, lvl 7 6 dollars and lvl 8 mabe make it 8 dollars (look the cheaper the more ppl will buy.)
    Orange star ruin artifacts: Cruiser artifacts (I think maybe you should need 60 pieces for a lvl 1 cruiser, 120 for level 2 and for each lvl it doubles, also I think as u colonize the Orange star system and upgrade planets, the more ruined artifacts u get)
    So maybe for 60 cruiser pieces do 1 dollar, 120 do 2 and as it doubles the price doubles too,
    Citadels: 60 pcs for lvl 1 (1 dollar) 120 pcs for lvl 2 (2 dollars) and as the levels double so does the price, same with the Dyson spheres and space habs
    Pls also note with the orange star and new yellow star you can do both I.e you finish conquer the yellow star system you can then go to the orange star system or vice versa, you are not only able to do one only, you can do both
    also heres how to use the conquer module (stations and planets only): step 1 use a battle ship to EMP the subject,
    Step 2 chart a destroyer to a course on the object
    step 3 once there, activate the module and it will take 10 seconds (if lvl 1, 1 second if fully upgraded) to conquer.
    Step 4: once conquered its yours.
    That's all from me! Hope you guys see this long as heck list of recommendations (pls note I will edit this a lot)

    I lost all 3 of my 5 lvl battleships to test dark red star. I like idea of hardcore but why one 5 lvl battleship cost 800k? I am now on RS 7 tier and have limit of credits 850k and now need to regain 2400k? First 800k i need to regain by watching all week how shipments are slowly regenerating. Other ships at this moment cost 200k to build, why battleship so easy to lose cost 800k?

    I feel like the game is still missing large scale feelings. One of the ways to give it to players is introducing global trading… resources, items, modules… In my opinion, when players are specialised in a certain area and their common efforts contribute to a big cause is really rewarding. So I hope the game will try to go in the ‘globalisation’ direction.

    This video is using the facts of hades star. Dark nabula does not have that many players and will never get I think. A warning to new players : don't invest years of gameplay to get your progress trashed to a completely new game that you don't know anything about. If dev did it now he can do it later also

    Still the best free to play space rts out there, despite all the smurfs and snails pace at late game.
    Even so, I would not recommend this game to anyone with a weak constitution, nothing but pain and suffering await you in this game.
    You'll make friends and watch them disappear little by little.
    You'll suffer agonizing loss day after day.

      Really?
      I was less than 100k of credits to finally upgrade my RS scanner, and then, my credit storage was almost half the credits I had. Then I notice I have to upgrade more planets and wait another goddamn week.
      My Omega shield was lvl 10 and I really HATED how nerfed the shield became.
      I loved facing the Phoenix, those CS really made me think on how to strike them, only to become the biggest slap in the face on how easier it got to destroy them.
      Why in the hell they cut the time limit of the BS?!, 5 minutes was great, now it looks like a Casual Match.
      I spent 2 years in the game, all the modules were unlocked without paying real money, losing a ship was an experience that was worth of improvement, now those bootliking praise them because you only lose a ship if it was in the Supernova explosion, or you are playing the DRS mode.

      In short, they made a fun and demanding game become boring and without incentive to play since what was previously a challenge is now very easy and now what was difficult but fair and could be achieved with work is now almost impossible if you don't spend @@nguyengiorno9026
