This is absolutely the best steering I've ever seen. I can't believe that 18 KG is still able to drive...??? This is a true technique masterpiece. Well done buddy.
I would be interested in more detailed instructions of the steering mechanism. Is ther any possibility to get them, so that i could be able to rebuild it ? It's such a great model, really.
to bad :-( i would love to get / buy those plans from you.. am pretty new at this. but i got the new service truck and the mark II cran, I am building the mark II right now. and i dont understand all the gears and steering at all !
In my foray with different angled steering wheels, I have used a gear train (usually a small/large gear to a med/med gear) to get the different angles. Is that what you used (or a similar type of gear train) as even at the end when the wheels turn at the same angle, the LA don't themselves turn at the same angle (probably a dumb question)...

As I told you already in Ede last spring, I am very impressed!!! You have a massive and impressive build, really really nice!!!
Very intelligently implemented steering solution!
I use 4 L-motors to drive. 2 for steering and 2 to change the steering modus. Thanks for the nice words!
fantastic! You're a genius!
@Vineet Honkan And the LA on axle six is used to switch for non-steering to steering modus.
Great work, easily one of the best MOCs i'v ever seen. Amazing in so many ways.
How many motors are you using to drive it?
Ziet er strak uit!! Echt gaaf!! Ga zo door!!
Thanks man!
Amazing!!
Are any of the boom functions rf? Amazing model, love the videos!!
Thanks! :)
@Vineet Honkan Yes you are right!
@MOHadsen: Thanks man!! I have no instructions. Yes, i build only out the top of my head!
wow nice 😮
Omfg nice!

There is no force on. The LA´s are just to change the length of the steering rods.
Tthis a amazing ! Wish i could build like you do ! Have you made a building plan or are you building from the top of you head ??
i am surprised that the mini la is strong enough, looks great though

can I buy it from u. or do u have instructions that I can get or buy from u
mooi zeg. is hij ook te koop,?
Richard Joytje van der Veen Tuurlijk. Alles is te koop. Wordt alleen vrij onbetaalbaar
I want to buy this crane
pm prise
Great video! Am I correct in assuming that you used the LA for the steering so that the wheels could steer at different angles if needed?

I also noticed at the 40s mark, there is a lego piece that raises via another motor. How does this piece affect the steering (or are they related)?
Ah I see...it locks that piece in place to prevent axle 6 from steering in the first part of clip

you're fucking mad.. but in a good way :)
