“Omai kia Iesu neke mule” is a timeless Niuean hymn (lologo tapu) that emphasises an imperative for people to "come to Jesus before it is too late". As such, although the hymn originated in ‘Ekalesia Niue’ congregations, it now transcends denomination and occasion, becoming a favourite at many gatherings.
This video is one of four, and is part of an inter-generational project that aims to promote interaction in Vagahau Niue between our matua and our fuata. We hope you enjoy this version by Niue Youth Network (Okalana) and some of our Auckland-based Niue Community Groups. Fakaaue lahi to all involved, and to our funders from the Ministry Of Education.
