I feel this season is more respecting of the source material. They had to fix the lack of Yen + Ciri in season 2 so it took a lot of the time but better than not have it at all. Enjoyed the 5 episodes. I'll watch season 4, I think Liam will be fine... It's only sad that they had to change it halfway
Yeah, like, best moments in show ones that from the books, it's new writing that mostly don't make sense or out of place. If they didn't tried to invent a wheel, this series would be more appraised.

@@MrDarkSidiusI liked a lot of that stuff. As someone who didn’t read the books, I can’t tell the difference in terms of “this is clearly better because it follows canon” and “this is clearly worse because it doesn’t.” A lot of the canon stuff is more palatable to me because of the non canon stuff.
Cahir was one my favorite characters from books. I hope his arc will be played out here as well as in the books!
I feel like Robbie Amell is always getting done dirty for some reason lol. Love the extra layer his death gives to Cahir tho
A rare time a young white dude was killed off for male character development lol. I’m so used to it being women and POC. And he was a good character. But the show doesn’t just kill off characters Willy nilly, so I really don’t think it was a “waste.”
Right I mean, even though I do wish we’d seen more of Vilgefortz, if he was the guy with all this info, he might not be flaunting it everywhere lol.
I did love first episode. But yes, I get what you're saying. I am sure this will be my last season watching. You can't replace Henry .
I absolutely love your reaction! I love the emotions in this episode and in this season so far. The characters felt a bit more fleshed out. However, there is a looming sadness for me knowing that Henry is leaving and although I love Ana and Freya, Henry is the reason I watched the series, so the Geralt swap will not work for me..
Ciri is so nice, and i guess it’s good for her “parents” to try to teach her how to be an “ordinary” human being. I would be like “you’re basically a god, you can do what you want!”
Well “it takes all kinds” as that one *assassin* said lol. I think Geralt and Ciri are more similar to each other than to Yennefer. I don’t agree with some of what Yennefer says, but in certain cases she’s totally right. You can choose what is “right” and not make any positive difference. You have to balance it out with some “thought” to not be reckless.
But also I’m probably more like Ciri and Geralt in that way lol.

Man,this season is really weird.Its like someone took some random events from the books and mashed them togethter with some plotpoints writers wrote in earlier seasons
It feels like fanfiction to me.
Literally tho. I was lost through the first half of this season. I don’t remember so many characters, I even forgot the white flame was Ciri’s dad. I don’t even remember why Fringila and the other guy were punished, how they betrayed the white flame. They used too many different + random plot points, and it’s hard to make them make sense.😂😂😂 Season 1 is almost a blur to me, I remember very little. Same goes for season 2. I actually remember more of season 1 then season 2. Season 2 is almost non existent in my head.
@@karisworldgaming4832You could rewatch them, since they make more sense after you’ve seen them once. I’m extremely surprised that you were able to follow the books that had dozens of more characters and were even more chaotic.

Because it escaped right and was also causing problems and she couldn’t wrangle it? She didn’t want it to further get hurt or to hurt others either.
That messenger was polite to Yennefer? Maybe though she was a babe?
People act like this show makes no sense when it does apparently unexpected things which have many possible explanations. Maybe people only want to find explanations when there are none and don’t want to when there are too many possibilities? I don’t get it.
Why is this show confusing me so much. I cannot keep track of all of these people and factions. I don't even remember who milfguard is. I was hoping by this episode my memory would be jogged but nope.
Same. I remember nothing from season 1, and barely remember season 2. I have zero memory of Redania, Vissimir, Dijkstra and Philipa. I don’t even remember the white flame. I didn’t even remember he was Ciri’s dad.😂😂😂

@@truthtella3371 That is EXACTLY why. That isn't a bad thing of course.. you are enjoying something we that have read the source material can't. They have butchered so much. Honestly this show had great potential but instead turned into fan fiction (when compared to the actual story). Once the show is over, do yourself a favor and read the books!
@@coldfire22 the show finna be over for me soon as henry leave .. i didn’t think them straying away from the source material was that big of a deal at first. but i saw videos explaining how the directors mocked it and then said henry was annoying for trying to keep it to the source material nd i didn’t like that. i have a question for u, is the games close to the books or would u say reading the books would be better
Dude... nothing Netflix is putting out is accurate to anything but Netflix created shows. Blood Origin has NOTHING to do with the Witcher. Nothing at all happened that way in the books. It was just fan fic crap.
As for who is the main villain.. they literally tell us that in the show. It seems everyone just "forgot" what a certain someone did in the 1st season.
