I was just looking to buy one. Now I at least know what to look for, thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!
It's a great idea to put together different parts of your videos on the same topic. Thanks a lot!
It is with your videos that I now use the liquid flow.
Thank you very much!
I am very glad you found useful information here. By the way, for soldering with silver, there is also a liquid flux for even finer soldering))))
Good technology. Thank you!
My pleasure!
👍
Thanks Olha. I bought an electric plank bender a while ago and found that it came with a 'free' electric soldering iron! I already have a butane soldering iron, it is definitely worth having both types. Thank you especially for the silver paste, I will look out for that.😸
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks a lot for this comprehensive comparison! 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent demonstration.Thank you.
My pleasure!
👍👍👍
Great video Olha. Silver solder is actually very easy to do using the soldering paste. But it does not fill gaps so viewers should insure the pieces are in contact before silver soldering the joint.
Thank you!
To make perfect soldering for silver paste, there is a special liquid flux...
¡Muchos gracias!
Hello 👋🏻 Olha , I found a new spark in an old love and hobby watching you and your incredible skills! I started but never finished a “Swift “, also a solid hull “Phantom “! I recently purchased a 3 ship beginners set up from Model Expo to warm my self up to finishing and continuing model ship building!
My question to you is can you do a shop video of the things or accessories that you keep in stock like what woods, (maple, pear , walnut, mahogany)sizes, sheets , love you and all the content you have to offer, keep those videos and magnificent models coming! 😊❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much! It's great that I was able to inspire you to return to this hobby.
In fact, I do not stock materials, but buy only what is needed for a specific model. Because storing wood, for example, is not so easy, especially when the humidity in the workshop is more than 80 in the summer, and less than 20 in the winter - the wood deforms, cracks and sometimes becomes covered with mold...
@@OlhaBatchvarov thank you for your reply, this makes perfect sense, I’ve been following your recent build on the Kurrack and it’s really a beautiful and inspirational. Happy New Year 🎈🎆🎊
First a hint; if you start with unannealed or soft copper wire, you can put a piece in a pin vise and hammer a rivet head onto it- for something like the the hinged blocks at the last. Or just to make rivets. As always, your busy hands make small miracles of tiny bits all to create the larger models. More tutorials, when the time and mood strike- and love your "toy break down" at the end, that really brought home the small difference between adequate and better to awesome. Ohla, on your Pinned mentions languages comment; I already watch first and through to see your work, and , tbh, your music selections and then again later to listen as you describe it- but thank you for all the work! FR
Thank you very much!
@@OlhaBatchvarov You do the work, I get the easy part! FR
ah, coffee time, yahoo..
Bonne view?))))
Sister clip them nails they aren't replacement for pliers 😂
They will absolutely not replace pliers in any case. These are perfect rigging tweezers)))) Sister!
Yes gas flames are better fo many soldering applications but I do prefer the jewellers Oxy/butane micro torch as it lets you silver solder too. as to soldering bass items that you want to keep moving; chemically blacken the part you don't want to solder. The blackening liquid doesn't affect wood, you just wash off as normal then let all dry thoroughly
Yes, that is also a handy tool...
I will suspect that many modelers will see silver soldering as a "big" step, a giant leap, if you will, even for those comfortable with electric soldering.
That is a complicated argument.
And, nothing is ever simple--I find the micro torches to be extremely handy versus the full size torches (especially for annealing PE). But, I think you have to treat those as expendable items.
Also, the back of a terra cotta floor tile cn well serve if one does not have access to honeycomb ceramics.
Thank you very much!
I also use ceramic plates that are chipped and no longer suitable for the kitchen)))
@@OlhaBatchvarov We modelers are a frugal bunch 🙂
