I saw there was a lot of devastation in Hawaii. R u ok?
Big island is okay. Maui is the one that got devastated. Definitely pray for maui
Good morning, just checking in to see if your company will be helping on Maui? I wanted to challenge CZcams to get some of the bigger concrete Chanels together for when they are ready over on Maui for slabs or anything concrete. CZcams pays all flights and finds us a place to shelter, even if it is in tents! Lets go CZcams, do something good for humanity! Peace and Love!
I actually think thay would be a cool idea. Im ready lets go I think it would be amazing to do something like that. Just wouldn't know were to start.
@@thatjuanshow4485 Thanks and Peace
Been a while hope all is well. Tight Lines!
Did u get a copyright claim for that music? Jw
they demonetized the video at first but i edited my video to pass the requirements
The last pour you did in Washington State was a viral set of steps?
No the one before that was the good traction video but the last one isnt to shabby with like 16000 views not good not bad
@@thatjuanshow4485 16k is good . I'm happy to get 1 to 2 k. Obviously shorts is different. Long form is hard sometimes 16 is damn good
@GRUBB-MUDD Yah 16k is pretty cool considering lately my typical views is only a couple hundred lol definitely not breaking the internet
@@thatjuanshow4485 but look bro. All my videos had one hundred to 1600 views, u know how that goes a year later they have twice that or 125k. I enjoy your videos. It was cool seeing u get to have fun again and be creative doing them steps. Keep posting u never know right? It's still a hobby for me and I do it for fun and support. I still would like to talk on stream. I had major winter depression last time and I'm glad we didn't do it. It doesn't have to be soon. But eventually I Wana have a podcast w every1 of the creators in the concrete niche
Good morning, hope you are safe with those fires out there! Have a good day!
were safe the fires on this island are up northwest i live on the south east side. and the major fires are on maui island. Super Scary fire has killed over 50 people definitely feel bad for Maui
@@thatjuanshow4485 Good morning, crazy world we live in. Stay safe and have a good weekend. Peace
Good morning Juan, just want to say thanks and you guys are good! I have used those edgers, mostly on commercial jobs, here they call them safety edgers. They are tuff to use. There was a part when you guys were taking off forms and rubbing out the risers and was the concrete that creamy or did you have some cement mixed up for parging? Happy for you that you have a good solid crew to work with. That makes a big difference especially doing concrete! We have relatives over there and they seem to love it. Love your attitude. Have a great day! Peace
The mud here is so boney we use parging mud sometimes. On average, we use a 2500 mix which is very boney. And over where we were is super windy so it dries the surface so fast. They call it magic mud I think it definitely has its place over here as a finishing aid
Happy aloha Friday! I hope you have a great weekend as well
@@thatjuanshow4485Never seen that used do you guys ever add retarder to the mix? Here in Northern California when it's 100+ degrees we add retarder which will give us extra time before it sets up
@@thatjuanshow4485 Thanks and a great weekend for you and yours! Peace
Shout out grump. I think he asked that cuz all we saw were slabs for a while. Steps like that make u feel good about your work. If I had 2 more of me GRUBB MUDD would be set 😂
Does that set up work with no stakes on stair? I like that
Yah no stakes on the risers. I too thought it was a good method to use. These guys have some good ideas
Thanks for your hard work Jaun
Always!
Thanks for your hard work Jaun
My pleasure!
