The amount of material packed into this 8 minute video is astounding. Love the straightforward approach. This will take me years haha.
This is the best Autumn Leaves tutorial out there by far. Believe me, I searched high and low. Thank you Stijn for your selfless sharing.

Agreed
One of the very best jazz piano educators on YT. Thank you, Stijn!
Haha wow! Love it! I've asked friends who play jazz for help before, and they all simply said you just kind of pick it up. Having mostly played classical piano, I had a feeling that somewhere there was sheet music with simple drills that later can be mixed and matched. And here they are, ready to be internalized :)
The best jazz channel on planet earth

Hey Stijn. Wat een mooie kleuren! Knap gedaan.
Great lesson, thanks Stijn ✌👌

Hi.These are very good lessons, different approaches, harmony, great work. Cool musician. Could you use a piano roll past the notes I think it would be easier at some point in terms of eyes.
Thanks a lot! I don't really know how to make a piano roll video, but you could slow this video down, or you can download the sheet music on this website: jazzpianopracticesessions.com/standards/
Great!
Thanks!
THE BEST
Thank you so much for your videos. You're a very thoughtful teacher. Would you tell me, where your drum playback comes from? It is so tasty...
Thanks a lot! I've put a link to the backing track in the description. It's this one: czcams.com/video/GNTwT89GOmU/video.html Very good backing track indeed, although the drums is missing in the second bar on this original video. I had to fix it.. :-)
최고❤
Thank you!!!?
Thanks for watching the video!
I feel like from this one video and a bit of googling (then applying the same techniques to other songs) you could go from beginner to competent jazz pianist. It’s like the Rosetta Stone of jazz piano lol.
Thanks a lot!
