I’m looking forward to doing my Lori Holt stitch cards. I like that they are quick. I have so much quilting to do that I need smaller projects for cross stitching.

Back in the late 70's -1980's when I was a mom and Girl Scout and Brownie leader, I made tin ornaments like this with my cross stitch. I had my scouts make them as well as gifts. I also made 1.5 inch ornaments and magnets foe the refrigerator. These are great as gifts as well as for your own home. Thank you Kimberly for this great idea, and bringing back some wonderful memories.🥰❤️🧵🪡

I wish we had all those lovely supplies over here in The Netherlands. There is one! shop that is going to carry sticky board. But I hope more shops will follow. We also do not finish our stitched pieces the way you do. And I love it!! To get exact placement you could die cut an acetate circle the same size as the sticky rounds.

It’s so hard to pick a favorite ornament because they are all so cute. I was disappointed that the book was sold out! My favorite cookie has to be chocolate chip oatmeal. Not all of my family likes these so more for me lol!

Have a few suggestions to lessen your understandable stress….
    1) Don’t be so hard on yourself! You seem to be a very involved momma and you work more than full-time.
    2) Ask the nanny to every day text you and Kevin the kid’s locations at the end of her shift.
    3) Embrace apps on your phone which help you know where the kids are such as life 360, find my phone, etc
    3) Invest in apple tags. I consider them to be the absolute best invention. I have one on my key chain and one on my purse. Also have one on my Dad’s walker in assisted living. He is not a wanderer but of he decides to go for a walk, I always know where he is for his safety. For your kids, put one on their house keys, one in a back pack.
Know pros and cons for all of the above but in this day and age, I think these are for safety.
    Get some rest!

Just an idea... instead of gluing the piece to the tart tin, you could use magnets and washers, and that way you could swap them out by season. ❤️
