The sad thing about this is, they were good songs at first until they were all overplayed by 1980. -Wheel in the Sky - Freebird - Turn the Page - Sweet Home Alabama - Back in Black (entire album) - Totally agree on Stroke! There’s many more. Enough to do a series of these videos. Note: I was sick of these songs by 1980. Imagine what playing them 3 times a day for the NEXT 40 years did……
Who even listens to the radio anymore? I thought I’m an odd duck - Quack! - because I often listen to sports talk radio; or the news station for traffic and weather, heading to and from work. Mostly, however, l play CDs in my car. Almost every time l used to switch to the FM band in my car, the darn rock station was playing commercials so I’ve given up on FM! Therefore, l don’t even know what’s currently getting too much airplay in the classic rock world. Two that spring to mind, from back in the day: “Rock and Roll” by Led Zeppelin and “Start Me Up” by The Rolling Stones. Cheers and Cherry Cheese Churros. Rock Out and Prog On! Good question. I don't listen to radio much at all but when I do I hear the same ol same ol. Even Sirius radio plays the same batch of songs over and over. Many bands overplay some of their songs in concert. Other events you may attend like sporting events and other things sometimes have music and you hear the same old songs. They are everywhere so we came up with a list. Hope you enjoyed.
