    In this video, I briefly showcase the lights I have installed on my VESC based DIY custom one wheel. Please note that this is not a Onewheel XR, or a Onewheel GT, and it is certainly not a Onewheel GT S-Series. It's a custom built from mostly aftermarket parts. There will be a separate video on this build project coming soon-ish.

    I left the video clip out to keep the video trim, but for anyone noticing the different colors: this lighting setup can be set to different colors in front and rear, by using the foot sensor. No app needed. It also has a battery meter that shows on idle. It’s really great.

    Dude. Seriously thanks for all the content around DIY vescs. Without your help getting my board running would have been a much larger headache. You're crushing it!

    Crafty, buddy. Even though I don’t do one wheels, I can appreciate this kind of custom work. Nicely done.

    I have already purchased 2 DIY boards from The Board Garage & I want more! No one puts more care into a build than Mario. If I want something built in the best way possible & if I want the most bang for my buck... I know who to see.

    Any chance we could get a video of how to do it? The article is immaculate, but moving visuals help my little monkey brain so much

      @@magic_steve Neopixel sticks. I show them in the article along with the other LEDs I used.

    Thank you. Your article is very nicely done. I'm wondering if there is a way to install those lights and keep an added Bluetooth receiver module in the same time?

    This looks great! Can the 12v/3A port of the Ubox 100 be used as the power source instead of the battery?

    • @TheBoardGarage
      @TheBoardGarage  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It can. You would need to source a 12v -> 5v step down converter, that shares a common ground (-) from the input and output. Then the LEDs can be powered from there.

    Would you consider a video on how to update to Float Package v2?

      @ericugland7990 Před 5 měsíci

      backup your config, hit update archive, install float package, hit restore. Not much to it.
