Marsh said we won game 1,2,&5 because JB was the best player on the court Id argue game3 as well except he couldnt close DUE TO INJURY what was the common theme with those 3 games 1st JB was healthy for those games 2nd role players player played better knowing there leader could lead & 3rd we were at home 2 of the 3 we will have in game 6 they were lucky to win game 3 we should close it out their but I'm supremely confident barring anymore injuries we win this series even if it goes 7

I love OG as a player, but he’s the kind of person who has to be 100% before he will strap it on. He’s been injury prone and he just seems to miss significant time every season.
His impact on the team’s performance is undeniable, so deciding on keeping him is hard.
I don’t count on him right now, especially for this series. For just about anyone else, hamstrings are tricky. For him? I just wonder.
Anyway, this team is just ignoring the noise and playing hard every night, game 4, notwithstanding.
The MVP was… The supporting cast!! Brunson was sick!! His teammates picked up the slack to ensure the win.
Props to Thibs for taking a chance on McBride and choosing NOT to be reactive to what the opponent was doing.

I used to play basketball. I had a hamstring and I wasn’t out this long more likely three days or less. It’s not like he dislocated his shoulder or he broke it. It’s a fucking hamstring so it only takes three days less to heal up. I think to me OG just don’t wanna come back.
No but you have to take into consideration the nature of the injury. Yours may have been just a slight strain. His could have been more severe. There are different grade levels to it. There are some hamstring injuries that can put you out for weeks or months - like the ones that some track athletes sustain.

I hear you. It’s hard to say that it worked BETTER, but that’s only because we don’t know what Randle would’ve done. My assumption is that you are correct. The team moves the ball better without Randle.
The Mitch thing is a bit of a hot take, but it’s definitely arguable. Although Hartenstein is looking like the overall better player (his passing is excellent), but Mitch was leading the league in Offensive Rebounding before he got hurt AND you see what he did to those Cleveland Bigs last year. I’d take either one of those guys… or better yet, both of them.
